This mod has some minor changes to weapon values to make them more balanced to each other. It reduces the power of extremely good weapons while underpowered weapons like the PPC, Large Laser or LRM10 are buffed to a reasonable level without making them overpowered.

This is my best attempt to address four key points regarding weapons: (1) smooth out inconsistencies in weapon stats, (2) incorporate some popular ADVANCED rules from classic tabletop Battletech, (3) do this while staying true to lore and design choices in the vanilla experience, and (4) be as cross-compatible as possible!

Improved DPS, thermal performance and weight management for the modern Mech Warrior. Makes modest but noticeable changes to weapons, heatsinks, jump jets, upgrades, and a couple ammo bins; improving overall effectiveness but without breaking the game. The AI uses stock mechs so they can't use the items — Nothing hits harder than Hyperion!

For a completely new experience try the full conversion, but keep in mind that using either mod on a saved game will require some adjustments to your Mechs to function properly. Enjoy!
