Question about how the mod works: does this make all morale effects temporary, or does it only affect morale levels based on spending level? For example, in vanilla, if you install a recreation upgrade on the Argo, it's a one-time bonus. Or if there's a morale bonus/penalty for a random event (Poker, Triple-F burgers, etc.), one-time bonus. Does this mod reset those bonuses/penalties as well?
This mod is only comatible with "mech maintenance by cost", if you set "CostByTons" to "true" in the other mod. Edit: Only seems to help temporary, mechtechskill will rise endlessly every month...
this mod temporary up the morale +2. not +10. and permanent give 2000 techpoints on +2 bonus. maybe this mod not compatible with 3062... or with pilot quirks... or with repair bays?
That was the original intent when I went to go first make this mod a month ago. I ultimately decided to go this route instead. I'm always considering this change. So... maybe.
I can definitely see how this could be more balanced than vanilla.
I'd like to see the following options:
1) A boolean option to disable the medtech/mechtech bonus-malus 2) An integer option to set a bonus to all funding categories when various Argo upgrades are completed, specifically the morale affecting options -- the amount of bonus is set by the amount of the integer option. Or maybe it would be better if it were an integer array.
Interesting points! I do want to add a settings file to allow tweaking. I would definitely add a toggle for the tech bonuses. Then it would be have very similarly to the monthly morale reset mod but would only reset the monthly bonuses instead of all bonuses.
Tying it into Argo upgrades is also a very cool idea. I will look into that coding.

Cause +/- 2 is a lot at start of the campaign but not really much in late game.
+/- 20% per financing level will look better, imho.
Now has UI on the Financial Report screen to see the change in skills.
Boolean value in settings to disable skill changes and only have it impact morale.
