"A group of pirates originally operating on the Principalty of Regulus, Ali Baba's Thieves take their name from the classic Terran novel, 'One Thousand and One Nights'. They are know to prey on travellers in the Periphery."

Alphard Trading Company
"The original Alphard Trading Corporation was originally a single company headquartered in the Free Worlds League. During the 2720s ATC underwent a major expansion, forming several new subsidiaries across the Periphery. During the Succession Wars, the ATC main office ceased operations, leaving the many subsidiaries to operate independently. Two of these branches are located at Perdition in the Taurian Concordat and at Alphard in the Marian Hegemony."

Antithesis Creed
"The Antithesis Creed is a jaded Periphery philosophy which coalesced in the wake of the Amaris Civil War. Followers of 'the Creed' believe that anything of distinctly Terran or Inner Sphere origin is immoral and contrary to the ideals of the 'Periphery'. The Antithesis Creed has been the foundation of many anarchist movements throughout the Periphery, including the Hyades Rim; these disaffected people see the Inner Sphere as a damning influence and wish to be rid of their presence, usually through violent means and joining forces with local criminal elements that they deem worthy of their cause."

Autocracy of Leh
"The Autocracy emerged after the end of the Star League in still unclear circumstances since the order has deliberately destroyed nearly all of Leh's past records during their regular purges of forbidden knowledge. Using still functional BattleMechs they were able to subdue all the human settlements on the planet and installed a religious theocracy to cement their power, with power shared amongst a ruling council."

Bad Moon Rising (SyrtisPirates)
"The Bad Moon Rising is a new company privately hired by the Duke of New Syrtis, Michael Hasek-Davion, to hunt pirates in the Periphery border of the Federated Suns.  Consisting mostly of former convicts, they work as privateers preying on independent colonies and attacking any other pirate groups that cross their path, while Hasek-Davion keeps publicly accusing his brother-in-law and First Prince Hanse Davion for not responding to the frequent pirate raids into the Suns territory."

Badlands Horde (ClusterPirates)
"The current major pirate band operating out of the Badlands star cluster, the Horde conducts piracy raids throughout the entire Hyades Rim. Although they share territory with the Satan's Kittens, both gangs appear to have reached an understanding to coordinate their raids, although that cooperation doesn't extend to local pirate groups, who will react aggressively to protect their turf when faced against any outside competitors. The Horde is notorious for its punishment raids against those who oppose their leader, 'Duke' Elias Perdell."

Black Angels
"The Black Angels were originally a mercenary company under the employ of House Liao. While on a raid against a Marik world the unit rebelled after the Liao commander ordered a suicide attack to defend the DropShips from a counter-attack. Instead, the Black Angels took control of a <i>Union</i> class DropShip and left the Capellan forces to deal by themselves from the defenders' wrath."

Bloody Horns (TaurianPirates)
"The original members of the Bloody Horns were former Taurian military who were convicted after a failed mutiny to replace their commander. While in route to their imprisionment, they were able to overcome the Constabulary guards and steal a TDF DropShip, although it took them several months before they were able to secure a JumpShip and leave the Hyades Cluster."

Brotherhood of Randis
"Founded in 2988 from a small group of Christian MechWarriors led by Erdelmaine Randis, the Brotherhood came to the defense of a small Periphery planet against raiders and criminals. After securing it, the order then renamed the world to Randis VI, with its members dedicated to its protection and following a strict training regimen using BattleMechs."

Capellan March
"The Capellan March is one of the major military commands of the Federated Suns and is responsible for the defense of the worlds bordering the Capellan Confederation and Taurian Concordat, with its leader being the Duke of New Syrtis, traditionally assigned to House Hasek. The current holder of the title is Michael Hasek-Davion, brother-in-law of the current First Prince, Hanse Davion."

Ceres Metal Industries
"One of the largest and oldest megacorporations, CMI is present in hundreds of worlds and was one of the original developers of BattleMech technology. Originally based in Terra, its headquarters was destroyed during the Amaris Civil War but the company reestablished itself on Capella and currently is one of the major arms suppliers for House Liao, and well known for its <i>Vindicator</i> 'Mech model."

Chandrasekhar Kurita
"Born 2994. A member of a cadet branch of House Kurita, Chandrasekhar is a distant cousin to the current Coordinator, Takashi Kurita. Unlike most Kuritan family members, Chandrasekhar chose not to follow a military career, making him a failure at the eyes of Takashi and the royal court at Luthien."

Evil Eye

Harbingers of Doom
"The Harbingers of Doom are rumored to originate from the Deep Periphery and are known to conduct deep strike raids into more populated areas. They are likely to be a stray colony group who decided to go pirate in order to survive and started raiding other colonies and trading JumpShips, which allowed them to become more ambitious in their attacks. The group is known to offer membership into its ranks to any survivors captured. Any negative replies to their offer are subsequently airlocked into the vacuum of space."

"The Isle Avengers are a former separatist group of the Isle of Skye region of the Lyran Commonwealth. After being lured into an ambush by Steiner counter-intelligence Loki agents, the insurgents were able to turn the tables against them and hijack a number of DropShips and a JumpShip to flee Lyran space. The Irregulars then eluded all efforts to stop them while jumping into Marik and then Liao space, until finally reaching the relative safety of the Rimward Periphery, where they executed all the captured crew members who refused to join their new cause."

Jinxsie and the Banshees
"Jinxie and the Banshees are a pirate group who formed a Periphery neo-synth band as a side gig to their piracy activities. The group regularly releases music holo-vids of their pirate incursions, with heavily dramatized footage taken during their pirate incursions. The frontwoman and singer, Jinxie, is wanted for several crimes by nearly all Successor States, which has only helped her popularity and their music sales throughout the entire Inner Sphere, with their better known hit being <i>Periphery In Dust</i>."

Legion of the Damned (MarianPirates)
"A group of former Marian soldiers who were condemned to death after their maniple refused to follow orders and killed their officer, the ex-legionnaires rebelled and razed their military barracks before escaping on captured civilian DropShips. Their knowledge of Marian operations has allowed them to perform successful raids to arm themselves, while also threatening more distant worlds."

Vandenberg Mechanized Industries
"Vandenberg Mechanized Industries is one of the oldest BattleMech manufacturers in the Taurian Concordat, with the company operating in secret to support the Taurian resistance during the Star League occupation.
