    During the check by the players of the "More Towns" mod, it turned out that the battles break if there is a "critical" number of cities on the world map.
    A safe value of 25 has been experimentally revealed.
    For everyone who wants to edit the values on their own, you need to change the numbers in the file "world_settlements" in the block "gt.Const.World.Settlements.Master"
    The generator creates maps with a small spread, you must understand that not every map will have 25 cities

    This mod is broken sadly.

    The game hangs at "Building settlements ... " when starting a new campaign.

    I've been messing around with this mod, and it still works, but I'm not able to achieve the results I desire with it.

    This mod adds all the functional buildings at the towns and fortifications, so that's nice, but even with the "gart_BuiltUpTownsExtended" files, I'm still not seeing one of every attached location on each map seed. See: https://battlebrothers.fandom.com/wiki/Settlements_and_attached_locations.

    In fact, most maps still suffer from the same problem as the vanilla game, in that at least a couple attached locations are missing entirely.  In the past, I solved this myself by tweaking the settlement files; I just made it so each settlement has more attached locations, and then took some of the randomness away from the chances to spawn certain attached locations.

    The additional "mod_MoreTowns" files adds more settlements, thus more chances to spawn all attached locations, but it currently breaks the menu and removes the ability to quit, and still doesn't solve the problem above.

      In case the mod creator ever decides to resurrect this mod, or in case someone else comes along and wants more settlements, I found a work around...

      It's something in the world_state.nut file in ...\Battle Brothers\data\scripts\states\ that is breaking the ability to retire/quit the game.  I compared the file in the mod to the original in WinMerge, and there's only four minor differences, and the mod file is missing a bit about "this.m.WorldMenuScreen.isAnimating", which is likely the culprit.

      If you know how to mod the game, you can go through the process of decrypting the vanilla files and modify the world_state.nut file from your vanilla game from "factions.resize(32, 0);" to "factions.resize(100, 0);" and copy it over and it will now match the mod, and fixes the bug.

      Otherwise, you can try just deleting the folders that contain world_state.nut and combat_manager.nut from the mod and it will fix the menu bug too, but I'm not sure why the mod creator increased the range of these arrays in the first place, so I don't know what the potential consequences are.

      I've decided to use this mod as a reference, but to create my own version again.  Going through and comparing all the file changes to the vanilla game, I noticed that several backgrounds were missing from the files in ...\Battle Brothers\data\scripts\entity\world\settlements\.  For example, "paladin_background" is missing from all the Large Forts, "anatomist_background" is missing from all the Large Villages, and so on.

      Why, I have no idea.  It could be these were added to the vanilla game files after the mod creator stopped updating this mod.  It could be he had a personal reason to remove them.  Either way, if you're playing with this mod, you're not going to find certain backgrounds where you should.

    Great mod, love it, but i want to say that as of date of this post, for some reason with this mod active i cant Quit the game via escape, when i hit escape and hit quit button Nothing happens, so i ahve to close the game via task manager or just right click and close the app.

    Does this mod still work?  I once made something similar for my own use, as I hate not having certain buildings or attached locations spawn on every map, but it was a bit clunky.

    Привет, заметил баг с модом "MoreTowns", начиная с версии 1.4.0.47 перестала работать кнопка "Уйти на покой"-"Выйти" и еще через раз работает кнопка загрузки сохранения. Если шанс что мод будет обновлен?
