Same. It can be a good mod, shame the author thinks everybody else is st.pid. and he is the only light on the horizon... Otherwise he could make his mod better. But no, its perfect...
Also got the crop field bug after playing all the way to year 30. It stopped producing crops and then after I deleted the field, I can't build anything in that spot besides roads.
Super disappointed that I have to start all over. I appreciate the work this mod maker put into it, but please consider an update to fix this bug! It would be a great mod otherwise. This is the only mod I have installed and I never had this bug until I installed this mod.
I'm glad I decided to read the comments before I blindly downloaded this mod. I read the description and got excited, but saner heads prevailed and I did research on it anyways. It's honestly a shame this is a dead mod, cause something like this would have been amazing. Mod selection for the game seems to be generally scarce as it is, so it kinda sucked when I thought I had found a diamond and it turned out to be just a shiny rock. Last update in 2014 no less? Hard pass, real shame. We could have been beautiful together. xD
LordMarlle: I made a backup, and then downloaded this mod and then continued my play. My backup of course was done BEFORE my village became a city, obviously. Unfortunately, this bug shows up after a while, not immediately, so rolling back is useless. Shortly: I'm not an idiot.
I had the perfect plan for my city/town and then I just got the crop bug... =( Worked up to year 5 and then the crop bug started. I am only using this mod. I have tired a bunch of other mods now to see if I could at least fix the not being able to place anything in the deleted crop space to no avail. Hope we can see a fix for this. Or can we get original files for the mod so I can repackage without the crop mod?
It looks like a fantastic mod and I hope that maybe the mod's creator might consider an update? However, most unfortunately it's red on my mod menu and doesn't work.
Must add that, like Muncha and laiilaiiheii mentioned, after having loaded the game some seven or eight times, with Banished Plus active, all of a sudden the farmers tending to my crop fields are stuck besides their fields, showing jumpy, repetitive robot-like motion. No yield shows for the fields since the crop workers never make it onto the field.
The only option is to add a field somewhere else and destroy the ones the workers can't tread on. While the new fields are tended to in a normal way, the spots where the old fields used to be can't be used for anything any longer. Fields or houses show red with the message I can't build such and such in that spot...
Tried with earlier made saves; tried saving, disabling the mod and continue from the save, then save again and re-enable the mod, all to no avail: the farmers are stuck besides their fields and/or the places where fields used to be have become useless after having destroyed the faulty fields...

!!!deleting them results in never being able to build on that spot again!!!
I did some research(Google, forums&s***) after experiencing THE bug and it led me to this conclusion.
Great idea for a mod, its just a shame it has this game breaking bug.
:(

Cannot recommend this mod in its current state.
If you don't want to have a lot of useless places, DON'T USE IT! This mod could totally ruin your city planning!
