UA5: Memorize Spell is a new 5th-level feature. UA7: Memorize Spell is now a feature rather than a spell. It allows you to prepare a spell that you didn’t already have prepared.
LEVEL 5: MEMORIZE SPELL Studying your spellbook for 1 minute, you can expend mental and magical effort to memorize a spell. Choose one spell of level 1 or higher from your spellbook that you don’t have prepared. You now have that spell prepared until you use this feature to prepare a different spell.
Notes
As Baldur's Gate 3 pretty much lets you change your prepared spells whenever you want, I am not sure how to implement this yet.
Please share any ideas or feedback for what sort of implementation we could use for Memorize Spell.
My offer for this ability would be 1 extra prepared spell, WHICH can be changed midfight for normal/bonus action. It would be pretty niche use, doesn't compliment the name, but it isn't boring at least
Scholar doesn't seem to function. No options appear during level up, the passive does appear when examining the character but it never gives a choice anywhere to pick a skill and seems to do nothing.
Maybe for Memorize spell, maybe you can do a "choose a spell that you know (equal in level up to your proficiency modifier), you may cast this spell once per long rest without expending a spell slot."
Thank you for the mod. I had an issue where the divination savant feature had no spells to be selected at level 2, making me unable to finish the level up process.
Thanks for the fast reply. I managed to fix this somehwat with 2e Spells, as it adds a level 1 divination spell that I can select. I was using 5e spells only before and that has detect magic as the only lvl 1 divination spell, and it is a ritual so my wizard already had it.
For Memorize Spell, I don't know, can you just allow the wizard to prepare one extra spell? Another option: allow free casting of one spell per LR...maybe that's too powerful? Or free cast of up to a third level spell?
Honestly not sure of the best way to move forward with it and am looking forward to hearing various suggestions. I am hopeful that someone will share a brilliant idea that just makes sense.
On a unrelated thing, do you think it's possible to make Spell learning from scrolls work like RAW? As in, you make a DC10(+spell level) Arcana check. I scoured to game files but only found a unused thing
To be honest, I have no idea; I haven't looked too deeply into that area yet. I wasn't even planning on doing this one, but then Luma did their release and I figured I better get it sorted. <_<
Thank you for this! I have been using both your mods and also wesslen's to try and turn BG3 into One DnD as much as possible and it has been great. Looking forward to more from you both! (Monk subclass changes are ones I am particularly excited for).

We could certainly make something for them, but it feels like it might be a little OP to get their normal features plus additional spells.
Thanks to you and the team for this mod.
