There is no longer any need to remove the 'equipment.txt' file from Containers Extended as per the latest version. Enjoy 🌼
As per 1.2, this mod should now also be 100% compatible with any past, current or future version of Containers Extended, even those versions that aren't compatible with each other.
This also means that if you want to only have acces to the containers through AV Item Shipment Framework, you will have to manually edit the main Containers Extended file by removing its 'Equipment.txt' since it adds the containers to the starting eqipment of your Tav and companions.
Yes, exactly. It should be all good for user friendlyness now. Also just updated this mod to fix a minor grammar thing, but this mod should be all perfect for now and the forseeable future💜
ok ill test it out thx u, i just didnt kno why sum characters wasnt getting gear in start, maybe do to modded class, race etc idk but hopefully this fix that issue
Modded classes and subclasses are 100% the issue darkcharl (or someone else) would need to make a separate patch for each modded class for it to work. We need to get a little further in BG3 modding technology before we can do something like that without new patches, I believe 😌
Well aren't you just in luck? If you go ahead and download the latest main file of Containers Extended, all containers should be removed from the starting items, vendors, etc etc, and only findable in a few physical crates standing around! Try it out and tell me if it works. It's the setup I currently use 😊
Well for me i don't really want to find bags, since i use Randomized Equipment Loot v3 (which may mess there location up anyway), that's why for me i rather just have it in travelers chest only, Yeah how i got my thing set up is scary and neat lol but thx u ill stick with the starting gear one for now
Haha fair enough. REL is a little bit of maintaince if you have lot of mods 🤭Hope you got the experience out of this and/or the Containers Extended mod you want though 💜
Yeah i use 700+ mods so trying not to get underwear in tomb is annoying since some modders put camp and armor together like the elven series, then the name of stuff makes it difficult aswell to fig out which is just cosmetic or armor, i still use rel but the ancient version is the way to go if u have alot of mods lol
not sure if I'm doing something wrong but while the Container Container does appear in the IV Item Shipment Framework mailbox, it's empty and doesn't have darkcharl's containers
Hi, interesting. Thanks for the reports and sorry for not seeing it earlier, life has been busy. It is possible darcharl has changed some of their code unaware to me. I will check it out straight away! Are you both using the latest version of Containers Expanded? 🌼
Update: Funny story. Seems I uploaded the wrong version of the file while I continued to play with the right version of the file on my own end so that I never noticed the problem. This time you should have the proper file. Please let me know if it works 🧡
Haha, I'm so glad this simple mod can bring someone else some joy. I'm currently working on adding some other loose items to the AV Shipment (but need permission from the main authors). Hoping that can be helpful too. Have a lovely day🧡
