Hi, I wanted to ask if I may use your mod as reference to reverse engineer whatever is going on with my outfit conversion (specifically the materials and textures section)? I would credit you of course once the mod is good enough to upload!

Go right ahead. I made this as something of a resource, so have at it. Feel free to drop any questions.

I read your description, can you possibly elaborate even more on how to maintain the physics?

It's kinda hard for me to explain, but go to the "Alpha (aka Transparancy)" of this page: Modding:Armor/Clothing Texture Maps

That inspired me to use the textures to hide meshes. If you unpack my mod and look in the meshes lsx file that the "skirt" entry just points to the vanilla mesh. I just copy/pasted Larian's own code and injected my own UUIDs for the item itself, and the textures.

This is super interesting to me as well; I used the UUID by Larian for the transparent texture to apply to the cloth mesh. Is that what you did too? Sadly, the code for physics just stopped all the physics in game for me... As soon as I took it out I at least had the wonky physics again. How did you do that for your robe/where can I see the difference in your files?

Is this a standalone mod (a new item)?

Yup. It's doesn't rely on anything.
