If you are having issues try rolling Compatibility Framework back to version 2.6.3.12. People have been having trouble with later versions.
If it still isn't showing up, you likely have an issue with another mod. Try removing them and fine the culprit. It is likely a subclass mod whose pak name looks something like MetamagicCompatibility_decd63fa-4853-7e5a-cceb-f26fe5342dfd. These are mods made in the toolkit. In patch 7 Larian introduced progression merging to make subclasses made in the toolkit compatible with each other. It doesn't work well and has caused issues with subclasses not showing up. Some work fine, others do not. My subclasses do not contain the merge entries that are causing issues and are solely added through CF. This is a vanilla bug. There is nothing I can do on my end to resolve issues with subclasses not appearing. Please do not make bug reports about it.
Can I use this without a level 20 mod?
Yes.
Patch 8 compatible?
Yes.
I made a little mod that adds some Necrotic/darkness spells to Clerics to complement this, if anyone is interested.
hello! no matter what ive tried the mod doesnt show up. did patch 8 mess something up? edit, rolling it back to 2.6.3.12 works but it breaks everything else
Me too. I´ve given up. Twilight domain mod isn´t showing up either. I can´t roll back to previous versions of compatibility framework because other mods will stop working. Too bad really, since I really wanted to use this.
Well, there's something you haven't tried if it isn't showing up. Make sure you have the requirements and they are installed correctly. If you have done all that, try rolling Compatibility Framework back to version 2.6.3.12
Hi xarara, I saw that the mod was turned off and back on, but it isn't working for me. It was working on friday (6/6/25) but as of 6/8/25 it isn't. Fortunately my game does not crash, the mod just doesn't show up as a cleric subclass, and doesn't work with Lumetarian's Alternate Origin Subclass mod. I've moved it around in the load order but nothing has changed regarding the mods I have installed so I'm not sure if that would do anything anyway. I even tried going back to v3.05. Has anyone had a similar issue?
Same for me. After the most recent updates, the subclasses are not showing up for me. I am using community library (top of load order) and CompatabilityFramework (last in load order). Im also using 'compatibility for official classes' addon and it is just above CompatabilityFramework.
Only subclasses mods that add the subclasses options within the progression file is working for me now.
Hello! The latest 4.01 version of this file causes my game to crash before reaching to the main menu. I relaunched the game going back to the 4.0 file of this mod and everything was able to load to the main menu and save well! Could there be an extra requirement in order to use this file, or perhaps I've gotten a potential conflict with this update? If it's the latter, then I'll attempt to solve this on my own and apologies for the inconvenience!
Well, that is also an issue lol. Not sure how I never noticed that one but I'll fix it as well. Anyway, I turned it off and back on again, it works now.
Is there a way to turn off Encroaching Darkness or end it? I wasn't expecting it to cover so much distance and Blind all my characters. I can't seem to find an option to cancel it.
That would be wonderful, maybe also a version with a smaller radius? I had to have Shadowheart just leave the area during the fight with the fake Paladins of Tyr lol the whole tollhouse was black
Any updates on adding a dismissal spell to encroaching darkness? I love the addition of True Darkness to the mod, but not being able to remove the channel divinity after combat slows the gameplay a bit.
Why did you change dream and creation to the same spells the death domain cleric has? Is there anyway you could upload the old file so we have that option as well?
I have all the mods installed script, community library, compatibility framework, 5e spell, improved ui, expansion and the subclass does not appear in the character selection, what could it be?
