This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 1st level Sorcerers.
If you encounter any issues or bugs, please make a bug report rather than a comment so I don't have to move it manually. Also, please make sure you read the Potential Issues/Disclaimers section of the mod description before making a report—thanks! 😊
Is this mod compatible with other mods? Yes. Unless it changes the Sorcerers progression table for level 1, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Sorcerer related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. This mod features innate support for that mod, and requires Script Extender to function.
Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation? You probably either: 1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description. or 2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date. or 3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.
X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why? Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.
My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may.
Will you implement features up to level 20? I have no such plans at the moment.
My entire save is gone because I updated this mod, I downgraded to each individual version to try to use the Mod Uninstaller and nothing works. My save refuses to load. I guess I just gotta start a new run.
It's probably because there's a missing item (the old dye), so using the same version that you used before you updated it should make it appear again. Maybe you missed a version.
I keep getting error 302 everytime I try to load a saved game that used the previous version of this mod, and I have no idea why. I tried checking if I had leftover items from the old version (dye, etc.) in inventories and/or camp, but I had nothing. It just won't load, and it's driving me insane.
Error 302 means an item is missing, so the dye is likely still present in the inventory of some vendor somewhere. I haven't tried it myself yet but you could probably use Mod Uninstaller to uninstall the old version of the mod by following the instructions given on the description page. Either that, or use both mods for the time being and place the new one under the old one in the load order so that it overwrites the old one.
I upgraded to the latest version of Lunar Sorcery, but it didn't replace my mod, it adds a new version? If I unload the old one and run the new one, my saves don't load. :| So either have to have both loaded, or only run the older version to have my saves work. :s
Since the new one is created using the toolkit, the UUIDs will be different. As I mentioned in another comment, removing the old one mid-playthrough will give you an error since there are leftover items in your inventory/at certain vendors (most likely the dye), so either try Mod Uninstaller, or use both for the time being with the new one loaded under the old one so that it overwrites it.
Running into a small issue, but the icons for this mod and your "wretched bloodline" mod aren't showing up for some reason. I only have those two and shadow sorcery enabled and am getting this with community library on top and compatibility framework on the bottom. Both are updated. Any ideas what might be going wrong here? Wondering if this is an indicator that something is going wrong and might have a bigger impact than just missing icons.
I followed all steps in FAQ have everything in the correct order and removed all my mods but this one and the requirements to see if there was any conflicts and I still cannot get the icon to work :/
I have the same issue as mentioned in closed thread in bugs section - i can cast shield unilmitely. I cant imagine there is any mod from my list that is cuasing conflicts. I have only hairs, heads and other crap. Mechanics mods - slower xp, true initiative. Nothing else. Up to date script extender. Already reinstalled the mod etc.
Tried to use this mod but no matter what I try I can't seem to get it to load. Installed it properly, using BG3MM, all my mods are up to date as far as I can tell, even tried using an order that was just this mod and Community Library, Compatibility Framework and ImpUI. I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm just missing something but I can't get the subclass to show in character creation.
