About this mod

The reshade presets I use in my playthroughs and in my Tales of The Forgotten mod collection...

Requirements
Permissions and credits

Just a small touch to the game's already good visuals.

Instructions:
- Install ReShade
- when prompted to install a preset, select XRF BG3.ini
- alternatively, install ReShade and install all the shaders; drop the XRF BG3.ini into your BG3 folder and select the preset once you're in-game
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\bin\
- If brightness is an issue, adjust the brightness of the game itself instead of modifying the reshade preset, it's much easier and less time consuming.

Note: You don't need all the shaders, so installing the preset alone is enough.
Note2: The preset shines best on max visuals without DLSS on, however, I've created it on an RTX4070, so I don't exactly know how heavy it is for older GPUs.

The preset is best showcased during gameplay, so here's the first video of the playthrough with the reshade preset on. Just a little touch to bring the best out of the game.

XRF Avernus showcased in my vanilla honour mode Dark Urge evil playthrough (I still suck at the game, but that's not the point). There are Avernus specific instructions in the sticky post, in the comments section of the mod page.
