Definitely a great and fun mod, but could you make it so that the transformation into an NPC does not disappear after a long rest? (I am writing through a translator)
Does Find Equipment really only lasts until Long Rest? Cause I found it totally hilarious as well as annoying when I suddenly my characters nekkid with all equipment spawned by the ring disappeared after long rest, I have to re-summon those items again.
First thing first, this mod adds Ring of Magical Transformation with several spells(Summon spells and Disguise Self spell). There is 4 rings of that type, you can find first one in tutorial chest aboard Nautiloid(in the room where you can find rune to unlock Shadowheart's Pod), second one in druid grove(look for blacksmith Dammon), third in Last Light Inn(look for Quartermaster Talli) and last one in Wyrm's Rock Crossing(look for Danthelon's Dancing Blades shop).
In order to use all new abilities you need to find Ring of Magical Transformation(which this mod adds) and equip it(I already mentioned where to find it in the beginning of description section). You can remove the ring form equipped items after using the transformation spell/ability, but you'll need to equip it again to be able to use other ring's abilities if you need them. All effects of the rings lasts until Long Rest.
If you installed the mod, you need to get the Ring of Transformation and equip it to be able to use it's abilities. You can find details above.
I don't have BG3 installed right now, so, I can't test things, but I'm going to upload new version of the mod with "Find Companion" ability renamed to "Find Beast", let me know if that fixes the issue.
Not sure... Summon equipment ability is already at it's limits. I can't just add new stuff in that command anymore. To expand list of summonable equipment I need to split it and make more commands (one for helmets, another one for armor, for gauntlets, boots, etc).
you're mod sounds exactly like what I want!! have you played divinity 2? we had a modder make us a mod that let us play as our favorite bosses in that game and summon them.
sadly I'm on ps5 and I'm hoping when mods come to consoles that yours will be possible to have! gosh that sounds so great to play as the bosses. how do your summons work? are they ai controlled? or do we have to move them.
actually from looking at the screen shots it looks like we control them. would be also very cool to have some of them ai controlled.
man I keep looking at this mod and rereading everything, you literally made the most perfect mod, I have a low grade pc so I'm going to have to try this out, so amazing. I wonder if you could in the future make some of these transformations a playable race. so we could right at the start of game for example play the whole game as sovereign Glut with his abilites and stats. or somehow make it possible to play as Dragonborn form ansur and give him a per battle ability that transforms him into his dragon form with his abilites.
Thank you. I'm glad to hear that you liked the mod.
Yes, I played Divinity 1 and 2 years ago.
All summons are controlled by the player. I have no plans to add AI controlled summons.
I don't know how to make some bosses as playable heroes from the start of the game (like Gale or the others, in theory it shouldn't be difficult, but I don't have such plans).
As for Ansur, theoretically I know how to make him as regular dragonborn with the ability to turn into a dragon, but the dragon is huge and takes up a lot of space, I don't know how it will work, tbh. I think he will remain as he is (as a summonable boss). Perhaps, I'll add some other stuff in the future.
Hello, do you mind if I want to add a function to the ring that increases the stats for summons or npcs such as (level, action, health, armor, attributes...)

For example Ketheric has a passive called Legions of Bone and his LR - Hordestrike
