Hi there! Just wanted to say I really love this mod- great idea to give him some jewelry. He deserves it :) However, it doesn't seem to be compatible with Alternate hairstyle for Wyll - unless I'm doing something wrong. Any advice, or are you able to make these two compatible? Thank you <3
Oh can you tell me a bit about what's going on/how they might be conflicting? I just tested both the ornate and simple versions of the alternate hairstyle with the earrings and they both seem to be working fine! Are they just not showing up? Or is it an issue with the equipment bonuses? And does removing the alternate hairstyle help?
omg I May Be Stupid, I forgot to summon the tutorial chest and EQUIP THEM (I have been awake for 22 hours) please excuse me :) I do not see them in the tutorial chest though, now that I've summoned it. I will try temporarily removing Ornate hair and testing it tomorrow to see if it shows up then. Thank you for your help <3
No worries!!!! Oh my gosh I've totally been there wrt being awake so long. Hope you can get some sleep soon!!! And they're actually in a container within the tutorial chest called Wyll's Jewelry Box! It uses the music box icon, so you wouldn't be looking for a pair of earrings in the tutorial chest. Let me know if you still can't find it, though!!!
Okay, I was able to get the earrings working! I took the Ornate Hair out of the active mods, summoned the chest and got the jewelry box, saved and quit, put the ornate hair back into active mods, and everything worked fine. Yippee! Thank you again for your help and for this mod (and your other spectacular Wyll mods!!)
Hello! Really enjoying this mod, but would it be too much to ask for a version that makes it so that you can only find the earrings inside of the tutorial chest? I would just like to keep my merchants' inventories as tidy as possible!
OH GOSH that was actually my intention, I debated adding them to merchants but realized it would make more sense for them to be in the tutorial chest only because they really were just meant for Wyll, but I guess I left it in the merchants' inventories on accident anyway 😭!!! Looking at my files it should only be affecting the trader in the druids' grove, but if they've shown up on anyone else let me know! I'm actually working on an update for the mod, both to try and add physics to the earrings/add single ear versions, and to make a version for the AV Item Shipment Framework in addition to the tutorial chest one. I'll add a tutorial chest only version then as well (it's probably best if I still have a version with them in merchant inventories, even though for Lore Reasons that is bothering me a little. Those are Wyll's earrings why does the druid grove merchant have them too.................)
No worries! And take your time with the update! For such a wonderful mod, I can be patient. And really, it's not that big an issue. I think I've only seen them in the druid's grove trader inventory, as you've said.
I just stumbled across a Mod that allows for physics on earrings, and I was wondering if maybe you'd interested in having them make a patch for this Mod? The Mod page mentions them being happy to try and make a patch (Though since this is equipment I don't know if it would even be compatible...)
if you ever want to make a version with a single earring instead of a pair that would be pretty cool :3 either way I love the mod and was waiting for someone to make it! This type of earrings is perfect for him
or some sort of mismatched set where one ear has the 'Crimsonhilt Dirks' (the blade), the other ear has one or a combination of 'Fastened Stars' / 'Subduer Loops' / 'Red Scintilla' / 'Lapis Studmuffin' ?

Edit: oh I just realized I have him in more than just that outfit in the preview photos. I've also got him wearing Padded armor +2 dyed with the Ocean dye, and the City of Brass outfit, which are both vanilla armors/clothing!!

Ah so, to get them to work for Wyll outside of the character creator, they're actually not counted as piercings by the game!! Just using the same model. So, if I gave them physics it wouldn't be related to that mod, but I have actually been thinking about giving it a go when I have time!! I have other mods in the works I want to finish up first, but once those are finished up I think I'm gonna take a look at it, because it would be real cool to have physics for them!
Oh my gosh, what a cool mod for the handsome Blade of the Frontiers/Avernus or whoever he chooses to become! I absolutely nabbed this immediately, because let's be real, everything looks good on Wyll, fairytale prince of our dreams that he is.
I may or may not be romancing him with Astarion at the moment and want them to be earring buddies lol
