- Permissions and credits
- Donations
(and Top Surgery Edition Version 2.0.0.1)
Important: Please read!
If you are already using any version before 3.0, do not uninstall it until you are finished with that save! This update is not compatible with previous versions from NexusMods (though is interchangeable with the version from mod.io). Top Surgery version 2.0 is created to be compatible with version 3.0.
-Introduces the backpack to the base mod
-Separates shoes from the rest of the outfit
-Drastically reduces the file size
Update: Version 2.3.3.73
Now with TMTS compatibility
-Fixed invisible skirt interior on body 3
-Added opacity gradient on tooltip icon to better match vanilla
-Added minor glow to inventory icon
-Dropping the item now shows the item rather than Tav's default camp outfit
-Mostly unimportant edits to item's coding
Update: Version 2.3.1.66
-Fixed distorted bells
-Smoothed jagged skirts
-Aligned buttons with buttonholes
-Cleaned up inventory icon image
About
This is my first mod, created for my little "cotton candy bard." None of the outfit/dye combos in the game really felt like they fit her (and they liked to clash with her hair), so I created this for her to run around in like the dramatic entertainer she is. It is available for all bodies.
I've included some screenshots of the outfit when dyed with vanilla dyes (boreal blue, scarlet on bone white, orange, peach & apricot, and Jet & Rose Pink not shown).
About the Top Surgery add-on
The main file is needed in order to use this add-on. This version will fit on all bodies but will always show as a masc version of the outfit. It will be available in the same places the original is. The icon has an M to differentiate it from the default version. See images above.
Also, the backpack itself is the same colors as its icon if you're interested in tossing it somewhere decorative in camp or something.
Installation
-Installation is the standard drag-and-drop into mod manager. Drag the .zip file into BG3MM, add to the active load order, save, and export. Done.
-To uninstall, you can move to inactive mods or, if desired, permanently delete via BG3MM. Keep in mind that deactivating a mod mid-game can cause issues and break your save.
I do not use Vortex and cannot provide any instructions or troubleshooting for it. I highly recommend using Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager when modding BG3.
Top Surgery Edition
-Install the main file
-Drag the TMTS version to after the main file in your load order. It will go below the original file in BG3MM (numerically higher, visually lower).
You must install the main file. Half the code comes from the main file itself, and the add-on will not work without it.
Important Note:
Load order is important for this add-on, and as I do not know how Vortex handles this, I cannot say if it will cause problems.
Acquiring the ensemble:
Spectacular Ensemble is available from two merchants per act.
Act 1: Arron (druid's grove), Roah Moonglow (goblin camp)
Act 2: Quartermaster Talli (Last Light Inn), Roah Moonglow (Moonrise)
Act 3: Carmen Pennygood (Carm's Garms), Thomas C. Quirkilicious (Chromatic Scale)
Prerequisites and Compatibility
-No prerequisite mods are needed. All you need is mod manager for installation.
(Even with the Top Surgery Edition, you technically don't need TMTS for it to work, though I would assume that's why you're downloading it. You will need the main file that's included in this mod, however.)
-There shouldn't be any incompatibility with any other mods, but if somehow there are issues, let me know.
-I'm not sure how the race mods work and how they handle outfits - modded or vanilla - so I can't guarantee the outfit will fit a modded body. It does, however fit all vanilla bodies.
This is my first mod - please provide any feedback you may have. I will try to address any issues that are brought to my attention.
This mod is probably not one that would be impacted by game updates, but I will note that at this time (Patch 6, hotfix #22), everything works as it should.

Acknowledgments
Thanks so much to Druundev and ByteBard for providing the templates here on NexusMods that made up the backbone of my code. I've never done anything like this before, and Druundev's tutorial walked step-by-step through what I needed to know to get started.
Thank you to the modders in the Larian Discord server that helped me work through issues along the way, particularly aruless.
Thanks also to EgaoKage for the immensely helpful Color-channel identification dyes.
And no thank you section is complete without mentioning the many ways Padme4000 has contributed to the modding community, with Padme's blender addons in particular being absolutely essential in creating this mod.
Even more acknowledgements
Thanks to noctilumi for creating the TMTS mod.
In the development of the TMTS compatible version of this outfit, I got a lot of help with the backpack from the folks in the Down by the River Discord server.
Thanks to Padme4000 for suggesting a colored backpack icon rather than whatever atrocity I was attempting to make.
Thanks to CommanderStrawberry for the template and color suggestions to create the icons.
Thanks to ResplendentArrow for helping me figure out how to work with the backpack visuals so I could color it as well as the icon.
