This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 1st level Paladins.
If you encounter any issues or bugs, please make a bug report rather than a comment so I don't have to move it manually. Also, please make sure you read the Potential Issues/Disclaimers section of the mod description before making a report—thanks! 😊
Is this mod compatible with other mods? Yes. Unless it changes the Paladin progression table for level 1, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Paladin related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. This mod features innate support for that mod, and requires Script Extender to function.
Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation? You probably either: 1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description. or 2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date. or 3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.
X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why? Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.
My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may.
Can you make a version where everything is unlocked by the time you reach level 12? No.
Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing a skull icon. I have no such plans at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future. The skull icon is a mod conflict. Read about those above and please do not bother writing a comment before you've read it.
Does this have any pathbreaking at the moment or can it not break oath, couldn’t find in description, only plans for future, looks too fun for me to wait lol
Not anything aside from vanilla oathbreaking I'm afraid, which seems to adhere to Devotion rules. Given that they operate very similarly it shouldn't be an issue, so feel free to give it a go!
That's been put on ice for now sadly, since it's not really working the way I hoped it would. Will probably pick it up later if it becomes possible to remove existing oathbreaking events!
So I'm having a strange issue, and I'm not sure if it's an issue with compatibility framework or with how integration for it is built into this mod. I have three of your Paladin Oath mods (well, I have all of your class mods, but Paladin is what's relevant here).
Oath of Conquest always shows up. But only Oath of Redemption or Oath of the Bleak Walkers shows up, depending on which one is loaded later.
I have the same issue with Lunar vs Aberrant Mind sorceror.
The only reason I'm not sure if it's actually a compatibility framework issue is because Oath of Conquest shows up alongside one of the other two classes - that, and I have other subclass mods that show multiples just fine.
Community Library must always load early, Compatibility Framework must always be last to load, any mods utilizing Compatibility Framework should load in between the two
THANK YOU FOR THIS! Just one request though: Do you think you can add a dye set to match the starting armor colors? It would be cool if we could upgrade our gear and maintain the oaths color theme :)
Thank you so so much for making this mod! All your subclass mods are so incredible, and Redemption Paladins in particular hold a special place in my heart.
Also, since you were asking about oathbreaking ideas, the ones that immediately jumped to mind were
Spoiler:
Show
- Encourging Shadowheart to kill the Nightsong - Encouraging Astarion to ascend - Encouraging Gale to activate the bomb in his chest.
Those are major story events, though, so I can understand why tying another character's alignment (for lack of a better term) to it might not be appealing. If you really wanted to go further, you could also tie oathbreaking to: - Immediately attacking Ketheric/his kids/Yugir - Not warning Isobel when Marcus tries to take her - Making a deal with Ethel.
This is also a stretch, but I can't see a Redemption Paladin who doesn't try to break Orpheus out, so maybe siding with the Emporer could break your oath.
Part of being a Redemption Paladin is the stricter oath than arguably any other, but I can't imagine how much of a pain implementing that in game would be.
Regardless, I'm so excited for this subclass, and so to see what you make next! Thank you!
Thank you very much! 😊 The positive thing about implementing oathbreaking events with this one is that it's good-aligned, so the default oathbreaking events (that seemingly can't be removed) make more sense, so it's just a matter of adding more. The problem with that though is that there are hundreds and hundreds of flags that sometimes don't work properly since they seem to apply to other characters (e.g. Origin characters) rather than your own, so there's really no way to make sure it triggers an oathbreaking event afaik. Going through them all to find potential workable ones will take a looot of time, and most of the time there are like dozens of flags related to one single event and they're not really grouped together so you can find them easily. We'll see how it goes in the future, but hopefully it'll come into fruition at some point!

If you don't mind, Is it okay to translate this mod into Korean?
And I don't know when,
I want to translate your other mods. Is that okay?
Again, thank you for making great mods, Have a nice day!

It feel it would suit quite well with the paladin sets in this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/6925
