Thank you for this!! may i ask if theres a way i could obtain the same file just without the green & red overlay so that i could add my own tattoo to the same variant without loosing this one
Load it up in GIMP or Photoshop and access the channels separately to edit the tattoos. BG3 saves space by combining multiple textures into one using the RGB channels. You might be able to just use Paint.NET as well, I think you just need a plugin to edit channels. :)
I honestly prefer Photoshop over GIMP, sure it costs a monthly subscription but the tools are very useful, and Nvidia has a DDS plugin for it to make life easy. Best way for editing and saving DDS files for BG3 I've found so far.
Do you know the name of the preset you used for the pictures ? I download the more presets mod but I canβt seem to find the one you used for male half elf
Would you consider uploading a high-res version of this? this modder put up the upscaled tattoos as resources. I would really love to enjoy this tattoo in highres <3
I second this! I need a high res version of this for my dark urge so bad, but I have no idea how to edit textures so I'm hoping someone else can do it ππ
You need to go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data (if you don't use steam or don't have it in the same location, then you need to go to wherever the game files live) and you need to copy and paste the contents of this mod in that folder, such that you have a new folder "Generated" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data
Hmmm Yeah I went there, and placed the 'Generated' folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3\Data but I get an error message on launch and that tattoo completely disappears from my CC options so... I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. :/
"Could you clarify where this goes in the file? I don't have a "data" folder in my Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3 file. Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Upscaled Tattoos (and more)
I currently have no programs available to do this or I would just do it myself, so many hopes you might do it

Any chance you'll make that version?
Thank you either way!
