Hi, normally you can remove it safely, just delete the mod from the Mods folder (or disable it in Mod Manager) If you have any problem with removing my mod don't hesitate to notify me!
Hi! I think It's her default hair? I don't remember having a mod that change her appearance... Maybe you will find it in a hair mod like Tav's Hair Salon
Sorry to ask again but I also loved the hairstyle you have on karlach and i've been looking for ages but I couldn't seem to find that exact style, could you please check if you do have a mod for karlach if you have the time? Thank you!
Hello! I looked online at pics of Karlach and found out it wasn't her default hair... I then looked at my mods and found nothing that could have changed the way characters look, except for Gortash lol... So I decided to search into the Data folder and found something! Sadly, it's a loose GR2 file so I'm pretty sure there's no way to know the name of the modder who made it... I searched on Nexus and the dread hairstyle available here : Early Access Karlach at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) does not match mine... very strange... As a result, I decided to put a link as I literally have no memory of dowloading that or what mod it is :
Thank you for checking! I did actually have the one you mentioned downloaded because it's quite similar, but when I tried to drop the generated folder into the data folder it's keeping the same dreads on for some reason. Thanks so much again for going through the trouble of uploading it for me!
oh my, this is lovely!! I've always wondered about using sims assets to make cute clothes in this game! I'm actually trying to figure it out for a personal use project, so would it be okay if i asked how exactly you managed to do it? I've been so lost as I'm not even a beginner bg3 modder. I'm like a no experience intern LOL. it's okay if it's too hard to explain, thank you anyway!!!
Hi, thank you! First, you need to find a mesh you like, but obviously you must ask the permission to the mesh creator before converting it. Sadly, I have found that a lot of Sims CC creators don't want people to convert their mods because of theft... Once you have it, I recommend to learn the basics of 3D modelling, the softwares I used to make this mod are Sims4Studio (to extract the mesh and textures), Blender and Photoshop Then, you can watch tutorials on Youtube to understand the process, I watched the ones made by Druundev Hope that helps!
hi again! i'm sorry to bother you with my issues, but i followed the tutorials from druundev with absolutely no problem, but when i enter the game, my mod shows up as "not found" in both name and description, and doesn't show up at all on my tav. i think this has something to do with my DDS assets as i don't know exactly how to make the NM, PM, BM, etc. files. if you have any tips, it would be greatly appreciated!!! :D
Hi! I agree that textures are a bit boring to make, I think that's the part I hate the most lol. I personnally don't have to make the BM/Base Material as I use ready made sims assets with set textures, I don't know if that's your case, if not you will have to make a UV map in Blender and export it then paint it... For the NM/Normal map, I use a software called ShaderMap, It's mostly free and will make your map in no time. Sadly, BG3 use a special type of Normal Map that is different from other games, so I suggest to use the Photoshop Action that you can find on this site to convert the colors (just type "photoshop action" in the search bar.) The PM/Physical Map is the most tedious texture to make so I can't explain it here, but I have a useful link to the BG3 Modding Wiki that is quite helpful and detailed on how you can make this map (and the others as well) : Modding Resources - Baldur's Gate 3 Wiki (bg3.wiki)
For the "Not Found" problem, it's most likely a UUID mismatch in your loca file or something like that. If your dress is invisible ingame, that may happen because you haven't set the path to your mesh or its UUID correctly, or because you didn't put textures for your clothing. A GR2 file with no DDS textures won't show up, it happened to me making this dress lol...
If your really struggling to make the mod manually (It's normal don't worry, It took me a whole month to make my first accessory mod work oops), I suggest trying this : BG3 Equipment Generator at Baldur's Gate 3 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) I used it a little and It's super handy, you don't have to type things in text files anymore lol. I will probably make my future mods with that!
Anyways, I hope that helps you! Making mods is a long process so if It doesn't work at first, remember to take a deep breath so you don't throw your pc by the window XD. Then, try again, and also ask for help (on Discord etc...)
Following this conversation as I'm going to attempt to learn to do Sims conversions myself. You should make a YT vid yourself Mnrn! It seems like a lot of people would be interested.
Hi! I appreciate that my little explanation is useful lol! But sadly, as I wrote in my mod description, I'm actually very busy IRL outside modding (Im a student) so I doubt I will be able to make tutorials anytime soon... But basically if you want to make Sims conversions I would suggest to learn the basics of Sims4Studio + Blender... these are the most important in my eyes
ahhhh thank you so much for your time!! i seriously appreciate the help!! i shall keep trying LOL. i did almost throw my laptop out the window once sksks
This is my favorite clothing mod I've found!! Sometimes I just want my tav to be in her cute girl era but so many other dress mods are too frumpy or extremely sexual
Thank you so much for not only sharing such a pretty dress, but also making it available for a broader number of characters! It's super cute on my dwarf girlie ^^
It's dyable, though not quite sure how it works cuz most dyes do some shade of white, but some dyes do vibrant colors. I uploaded an image (approval pending) with the honey bear dye from D'anya's dyes that made it look like a golden summer dress for example
Aaahaha, Honey bear. I see the Daddy Halsin inspiration inb it. :D
Ok, maybe i didn't see that the dress is dyed, because most of the images are made in dark areas. I have a bunch of dyes through mods. So i will test it. Thanks for the mod. :)

Edit : Oops forgot to add the folder structure... : https://www.mediafire.com/file/ty4pz3wiphzopk3/File_and_FolderStructure.zip/file
(If the link does not work, tell me, I've never used Mediafire before)
Just plop the "Generated" folder into your Data Folder (Game Directory) and you're good
P.S : If you're the creator of this hairstyle and want the link removed, please notify me and I'll take it down.
You're welcome!

Starting a petition to get more dresses for Githyanki
Not a request, but suggestion. Maybe it would be opossible to make the white version colorable?
