I have released a new equipment mod, Champion of Selûne, which also contains a Legendary longsword named "Resplendence." The mods do not conflict with each other, but I would recommend dumping this mod in favour of the other.
So the followers of the false god, the Absolute, had infested the Moonmaiden's house, and with a wretched priest of the profane goddess of pain and suffering, Loviatar. There they made wicked rites, and made for them images in blood upon the icons of the Moonmaiden, and brought pain to the innocent within its chambers. At this, the Moonmaiden was very wroth, for none are to disturb the temple that lie dorment, lest they die. They shall surely be slain by the sword.
And it came to pass that behind the waters that floweth into the Chionthar, Selune gave unto her chosen paladin, who traveleth with her wayward daughter, a mighty weapon, and it's name was Resplendence, and with it they shall slay every last trespasser by the sword. Not one was to survive, that the house of the Moonmaiden may again be clean.
I was thinking somewhere in Selunite resistance quest locations in Act 2 could work. Maybe in the chest at the end of that quest? Definitely feels like an act 2 weapon. Maybe a little too powerful for Act 2. I would say reduce the damage by 4-6 damage. Also, could it dispel the strong shadow curse near Moonrise, perhaps?
Seems like a great weapon, but... how many undead enemies do you actually face in the game? I don't seem to recall any, outside of Withers' tomb and certain locations in act 2.
Nearly the entirety of Act 2 is Undead enemies and alot of notable enemies in act 3 are undead too There is a lack of undead enemies in Act 1, but there is significantly more in the later acts
Nice and Simple not Overpowered like other modded legendary weapons Simplistic design and not flashy Finesse so clerics can also use it without having to be big strength character Immersively put in the game rather than being bought or in a tutorial chest
Maybe perhaps if you wanted to balance it have a downgraded RARE version in Act 1 and this LEGENDARY version in Act 2
This is a very nice weapon. But as a not native english speaking player, the location is impossible to undertsand for me. I can't imagine where that waterfall is.
Can you maybe add coordinates and a screen to the spoiler? Please?
Its under the bridge just outside the goblin camp where you have the cutscene of the absolute trying to possess you but the artefact stops it. the way you get down there is to go right through the goblin outside camp to where crusher, the s#*! talking goblin that you make kiss their feet, is at, head through a broken wall where some goblin kids are kicking a dead person, and there should be a pathway downwards past a drunk goblin, head under the bridge, theres a waterfall and you can climb some rocks to climb and get behind it, there is the chest
