The bug is fixed in the game, but you may be using some mod that copy-pasted an old version of Eldritch Blast and reintroduces it. I added a note about it in the description now.
I would agree with @TheOGTennessee. I either had a mod or something causing it not to work and your mod fixed it putting it almost last in my load order lol. I appreciate you mod creator.
Not sure I would call this one out for the count. Whether some other mod caused it, or the hotfixes did, I was having a problem where my repelling blast wasn't working. This fixed it right up.
heii, the mod looks very interesting to me, just one question: what would you say, which mods would possibly create mod conflicts of some kind or crash the game when used together?
The effect is probably stuck on some NPC. There are a few of them that have Repelling Blast.
I added an "Uninstaller" version as an optional file. Switch to that instead. It will avoid crashing and has no additional effect.
If you keep playing for a while with it installed it may clean up the NPCs as well so future uninstall attempts may succeed for later saves, but whether that happens or not is up to the game, so no guarantees.
Ah thanks a lot! So should I remove the regular file and just load the uninstaller? I'm in act 3 so yeah I imagine there's a few NPC's with it there. I'll keep it installed for now and switch to the uninstaller if patch 6 fixes the original bug
It's a replacement file with the same name as the main mod, just overwrite. (I guess if you're using Vortex you could still have both and should remove the main mod.)
so tried using it with hotfix #17 and it doesn't seem to work. I installed it with bg3 mod manager and have the modfixer installed as well. Tried saving with repelling blast enabled or disabled, toggling it after loading a save, even tried uninstalling and installing again but no matter what the repelling blast does not get deactivated
thanks for the quick reply! this is the load order i'm running. I don't think any of those mods would have conflicts with this... always doing save -> export when changing anything with the mod list
edit: I don't know what changed since the last time I loaded the game but now for some reason the fix works... I'd love to know what might have changed since 3 hours ago but at least now I can continue my honor mode run. thanks for the fix! :P
How to uninstall safely? Wanna use another mod that does the same thing but has other fixes included but everytime i remove this one from the modlist, games always crash upon loading.
Very surprising that this crashes, but I think I found why... Will release a new version that solves it soon, but just disable the toggle before uninstalling in version 1.0 and there won't be a problem. Edit: Fixed in 1.0.1.
@wesslen I tryed the ModManager. It broke something that i was not able to transport anymore. After disabling the ModManager i was able to teleport, but repelling blast was broken again. Seems i need to wait for larian to fix it.
I had the same problem of not being able to quicktravel anymore - what fixed it for me was opening up the modmanager and then go tools->download and extract script extender. No problems since then.

if you can tell at all. thanks a lot <3
I'm trying to remove the mod (on 1.0..1) and the game keeps crashing regardless if I save with the blast toggle on or off

Move this mod later in the load order and remember to save / deploy the mod list.

Thats what i was looking for!
But, i don't usualy use mods. So is it enough to put the .pak file into the Data folder?
Or do i realy need to mess around with some installer?
Cheers

This video seems decent from a quick glance.
