Have you, like me, felt personally victimised by the recent "adjustments" made to Gortash's letters to the smuggler Franc Peartree? Can you not stand the though of having those blasphemous notes sullying your game files? Boy, do I have good news for you!
Due to running an unreasonable amount of mods, I rarely download hotfixes as they tend to mess stuff up pretty badly and most of the time the payoff is not worth it. Thanks to that, my game still has the old localisation file with the original letters in it :) This is all this mod is -- it replaces the new loca file with the old one, getting rid of those pesky changes and restoring Gortash's letters to their former glory.
Because this mod edits the english.loca file, it's incompatible with any other mod that makes changes to the in-game text such as Show Approval Ratings in Dialogue Choices, Astarion Post Ascension Dialogue Fix etc, but since I did barely any work and just copied some files over if any author of a conflicting mod wants to use this file to copy over the old letters, feel totally free to do so. The letters' IDs in the loca file are "ha599d1fegba65g473dgbcc6g0d87a9e550f5" and "h83ee30e9geb91g4fddg86bega4c392192bf2"
