Sadly no. I need to make a hacky solution for it to properly work like that.
For now it is limited to you clicking on the options shown and the clothing inside CC/Magic Mirror changing accordingly either for you to dye it with the correct dye (or at least facilitate the closes dye) or you tinkering with it for commissioning/requesting/making a dye mod.
User Focus gave me a clue to make it work, but it is an annoying process I am not as experienced as Eralyne (modder of Appearance Edit Enhanced) to just throw together in a night.
I was debating if I should even release this; but I felt it was cool, fun and the dev time was huge so I went for it. Sorry if it is disappointing in the end.
It is still a great achievement, and it can definitely be useful for seeing exactly where the color "lands" on the armor. It really should be easier for dye creators to make more accurate dyes, perhaps even for specific armors. That would be awesome.
Very neat. You can't "apply" the changes but it definitely would help authors actively preview their dyes. Would like to see a version that allows changes to carry outside of CC.
This is incredible! The fact you managed to get the dye variations to show up this way alone is a feat by itself. It is a shame you can't customize dyes this way to stay in game, but it's super innovative in design and very helpful in what it DOES deliver!!
