This looks promising - I'm tired of getting stuck with a torch in my hands and not being able just to drop it and draw a weapon - (granted - this isn't dropping, but I have no problem with that.)
Technically you can do the drop part but manually, drop anything at your feet (not throw action, just drag and drop it from inventory or righ click and drop) is already a free action.
I don't remember is torches stay lighted, I know it work for candles (you can even use the candle to fire dip a weapon)
