About this mod

Want more projectiles for the Warlock's Eldritch Blast cantrip? Maybe 2d10 or 10d10 Damage? Pick a version of my mod that feels right for you. Now updated to only give the player the damage boost, NPC's are using the vanilla 1d10 damage table.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
After some mod iterations I can finally present the most optimal custom modded Eldritch Blast solution. This time around each version will be downloaded as it's own bundle and you simply extract the version you want from it.

Another huge change is that the original Eldritch Blast is untouched! Yes, despite implementing the proper code the game always ignored the PC vs NPC dice rolls so I made my own internal version of the cantrip called "Eldritch Blast: Overcharged". By doing this and explicitly adding a global NPC no-use on my spell only the PC's can use it. Finally you can pick any damage range and the NPC's are forced to use the vanilla 1d10 Eldritch Blast.

It's more! Now the player can (for role-play and/or other reasons) at will jump between the vanilla and modded Eldritch Blast. And from a modding perspective this opens further directions I can take the mod in. Yes, I will investigate if the Sorcerer's "wild magic" can be implemented into my own "Eldritch Blast: Overcharged" (probably we have to name-change it to "Unstable" by then).

Thanks to xMunchkinx we now have a 3.0.1 version that fixed the most comical of bugs I ever managed to produce. Please update asap! :)

IMPORTANT: - If you have compatibility issues with the NEW versions you can use the OLD versions instead!
Side-note: You can still download the "original versions" in the download section (scroll down to the bottom and you see them). The main reason why I mad the new versions is because the NPC's can't use the overpowered spell now and are stuck with the low damage 1d10 version. But if you do download any old versions do note: - All NPC's that can use Eldritch Blast will be on the same damage dice and share the number of beams... <3

To get access to the new "Eldritch Blast: Overcharged" cantrip just make a new character or respec.

In the download section you will soon find more different bundles, but as of now here is what you can download:

Eldritch Blast Bundle - 1d10 - 10d10 - 3 6 9 12
  • 1d10 to 10d10 Damage
  • New Beams at level 3, 6, 9 and 12 (5 Beams all-in-one)
  • Includes Action and Bonus Action versions.

Eldritch Blast Bundle - 1d10 - 10d10 - 5 9 (recommended download)
  • 1d10 to 10d10 Damage
  • New Beams at level 5 and 9 (6 Beams all-in-one, and you actually start with 4 beams level 1)
  • Includes Action and Bonus Action versions.

Want to use my "Eldritch Blast: Overcharged" cantrip on any other class? You are in luck! Pick the Magic Initiate: Warlock feat. Yes, that's it! <3

The "Warlock Eldritch Blast Tweaks - 1d10 Damage - 3 6 9 12 - Action" version from the "Eldritch Blast Bundle - 1d10 - 10d10 - 3 6 9 12"

Two nice people (aquarainz and Calistin) managed to figure out the issues with Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager that many people had (including me). I have made a full guide based on their findings over at my Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager gamecrash fixer mod page. Please go there for further assistance.
