About this mod

Combines both the mods, Jedi Robes and Jedi Weapons and Kyber Crysal and makes both scale with level. Also adds additional stats etc.

The armour assets and weapon merging to create the lightsaber effect are all DarthKyber and full credit must go to them.

Mod information
This mod was created to expand on the mods created above by adding attributes/stats to the Jedi armour as well as scaling abilities.
It also adds scaling weapon damage to the Jedi weapons.

This mod in it's current form would be considered quite powerful and therefore would not be suitable for a first time play through. I also recommend playing on tactician difficulty or above.

The mod may be scaled down in the future if I find it to be too overpowered.

As this mod uses the same assets as the Jedi Robes mod it can be used alongside the The Way of the Living Force (recommended). Ensure that mod is loaded before this mod so you start the game with the correct equipment.

This mod is designed to top out at level 20, although at level 12 it should still be fairly powerful. The use of level unlockers are recommended. My personal favourite is: Level 30

Items are available in the tutorial chest (the chest in the nautiloid in the room adjacent to Shadowheart)

Changes from DarthKybers version
There are a number of changes made to this mod as compared to the original version:

  • Both mods are now combined into one mod
  • Weapons, when imbued with the force, will now glow green to try and reflect a lightsaber.
    * In order to achieve this effect the following mod will need to be installed as a pre-req and will need to be placed higher than this mod in the load order: VFX Library by Shivero
    * Now also allows you to choose additional colours (Blue, Red and Purple)
  • Removed the concentration requirement on "Imbue Force Weapon" - (This allows for use of other concentration abilities while also wielding a lightsaber)
  • Weapon damage scaling with level
  • Adds "Force Throw". Gives weapons imbued with the force, the ability to be thrown and return to the character.
  • Armor stats scaling with level (e.g. AC)

Installation requirements
It is highly recommended to use LaughingLeader's Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager. I have not used vortex or manually installed mods so will be unable to offer any advice on those methods.

It is required to have VFX Library by Shivero to allow for the green lightsaber type glow. This will need to be placed above this mod.

Known issues
The following known issues exist (and potentially may continue to exist due to my lack of knowledge):
  • On level up, as stats and abilities change, they may not display correctly in the character screens. E.g. when you hit level 3 and gain lightning resistance via the Jedi Robes, the icon will not display until you un-equip and re-equip the item.
  • Sometimes, when combing the Kyber Crysal with a weapon, it can end up in the slot for your head armour. I don't know why this happens and therefore it's unlikely to be fixed. I believe it only happens when there is nothing else equipped in the head slot.
