Hey! I think this happened after the last update, but this now prevents Repelling Blast from working with Eldritch Blast. Would love to see an update so I can keep my Wizard and Warlock in the same party!
It is not working for me. The skill is replaced and the new description is there, but in practice the failed cantrips doesn't make any damage... Tested with both mage and warlock cantrips. Evocation or not evocation, it doesn't make the promised half damage
edit: further testing revealed it work when taking "Potent cantrips" as level 6 evocation mage when level up. At first I added "Potent cantrips" as a feat using other mod, that's what's not working. Do you think you can make it compatible? Class Specialization Feats
This is actually how I thought it worked initially, followed by immense dissapointment. Considering the lacklustre damage of cantrips overall, this is awesome! Thank you!
Only four of the eleven damaging cantrips in the game use saving throws instead of attack rolls: Acid Splash, Poison Spray, Sacred Flame, and Vicious Mockery. Of those four, only Acid Splash and Poison Spray are naturally learned by Wizards.
So, yeah, it's a mid-level class feature that enhances literally two spells out of your entire learned repertoire. I think 'lackluster' is being very kind at that point, lmao.
