Description

Add finesse spears, I try to give them a more tactical aproach and utility than base game spears so they can be an interesting option when comparing with other weapons.

General Characteristics:

-All are Finesse

-Topple class action for all of them, because elves are cunning enough to realized that a spear is still a stick XD.

-Rush attack was removed and replace with Impale. Works the same but causes extra (high) damage instead of "off balance" on a failed Dex ST (DC 13 + weapon enchanment level, user spell save DC for the caster version)

-Battle Ready: A special version of Brace. At the cost of a bonus action and 6 movement allow the user to take an extra reaction and a stance for 1 turn. Offensive stance is used without a shield, adding proficiency bonus to damage and reroll damage. Defensive stance is used with a shield and adds +3 to AC and ST.

- There's three basic models (common, uncommon +1 and rare +2) that can be purchased and four (uncommon, rare, very rare and legendary) special ones that can be found around the world. (Optional: Tutorial chest crate with all models inside)

-Update 1.1 add two Elven Pikes. They have "Topple" and "Impale" same as the spears but they have "Brace" instead of BR.

Pikes have my own homebrew version of Heavy, wich makes them require a minimun streght score of 10. This was done to prevent finesse builds with just 8 strenght access to pure great weapons.

You can customize (see customization below) pikes to (more) "Heavy Pikes" wich require a strenght of 16 but have +2 to all DC from their skills and use "Heavy Brace", that is the same as brace but can be use per turn.

-Update 1.2: "Sliver of the Blazing Dawn" and "Valkyrie Spear" are clasified as "Elven Battle Spear" and counts as martial weapons, to account for the increase damage step.

Location

The basic models can be bought at different locations:

-Common: Dammon at the Grove (Act I)

-Uncommon (+1): Brem at Zhentarim hideout and Blurg at the Miconic colony (Act I)

-Rare (+2): Quartermaster Talli at Last Light Inn and Lann Tarv at Moonrise Towers (Act II) and Fytz the Firecracker at Lowtown (Act III)

The location of the special ones are:

Spoiler:
Show

-Goblin Pricker: Found inside a Heavy Chest in the cellar behind the windmill in the Blighted Village. Same one with The Speedy Lightfeet.

-The Hunter's Spear: Gilded chest in the Arcane Tower's basement. Same one with The Sparkswall.

-Spellweaver Pointy Staff: Dropped by the Shadow-Cursed Shambling Mound in the Ruined Battlefield.

-Valkyrie Spear: Rewarded for freeing the Nightsong from the Shadowfell. Toguether with the Valkyrie Set if you use Elven Weaponry - Phoenix and Valkyrie mod (Not require).

-Sliver of the Blazing Dawn: Can be found in a invisible chest in the Sorcerous Vault inside Sorcerous Sundries, in the vault of Elminster. Same one with the Pyroquickness Hat.

-Titanhunter: Inside an elegant chest in Inquisitor's Chamber, Crèche Y'llek. Same one with the Strange Conduit Ring.

-Explosive Pike: Reward from Barcus Wroot for completing the quest Rescue Wulbren.

Customization

You can change between Versatile and No Versatile versions using the Elven Smithing Tool (not included, separate download. Follow the link). Just use the tool on a weapon to turn it non versatile, use it another time if you want it to be versatile again.

Note: Non Versatile is only useful for characters with Duel without shield proficiency (sword bard only, I think) or for RPG purposes. In all other cases is better either 2H or 1H with shield.

With the Pikes you can change them to Heavy Pikes using the Elven Smithing Tool, again use it one time to make it heavy and another time to make it less heavy again.

Installation

BG3 Mod Manager is recommended.

Use either the Vortex Mod Manager or the BG3 Mod Manager and install this mod.

Make sure you deploy your mods if using Vortex or export the mod list if using BG3 Mod Manager.

For Update just overwrite old version pak with the new one. If you want to be 100% sure everything goes smoothly do the following:
-Remove equiped weapons from this mod from your characters (you can leave them in the inventory, no need to store them), save your game and exit.
.-Install the new version (just overwrite old one).
-Load, you can reequip your weapons as you wish.
As I said, nothing of this should be needed, I update like hundreds of times while testing just overwritten the old file. But the above proccess should be the correct one to update items mods.

Uninstallation should be fine. If you want to be 100% sure everything goes smoothly use a mod that create a temporary container, like tutorial chest summoning. Place items in it and wait for it to vanish into the void with them. Save, exist and remove the mod. Remember to deploy/export after uninstalling mods

Optional

The optional Stances VFX Remove do just that, remove the vfx from stances. Load it after the main file (physically below it on the manager).

Note that Pikes use normal Brace from base game wich VFX won't be removed by it. If you want to remove it use the miscellaneous file Braced_VFX_Remove in Elven Weaponry - Longbows to remove VFX from base game Brace.

If you want the items to appear in the tutorial chest use: Elven Weaponry - Tutorial Chest. Load it after all main files from weaponry series.

Alternatively if you want to spam them with cheat engine or some other tool the UUID codes are:
