This mod and my Kereska's Ring mod, are my first mods for Baldur's Gate 3 and my first mods on the Nexus.

This mod slightly modifies all six spells contained within the spell "Kereska's Favour" (a spell normally only found on the legendary staff Markoheshkir) and adds an amulet that can cast Kereska's Favour.  It also raises the default price of the staff Markoheshkir from 640 gold to 1400 gold (but since you get the staff from looting, it really only matters/helps when selling it.).

One of the things that the unaltered versions of the six spells contained within the spell Kereska's Favour does, is to add visual effects to weapons WITHOUT adding any additional damage to the weapon (example here).  This is not to my liking.  I also don't like the fact that Kereska's Favour is only available on a weapon.  What to do?  Well... I can either "suck it up" and live with it or make a mod of course.

This mod modifies all six spells contained within Kereska's Favour.  In addition to all of the other things that those spells normally offer, this mod adds 1d4 damage of the appropriate damage type to your weapons (i.e. the lightning based spell "Bolts of Doom", now adds 1d4 lightning damage to your weapons and the Fire based spell "Flame of Wrath" now adds 1d4 fire damage to your weapons, etc.).  Now those cool looking visual weapon effects make sense to me.  Yay!

This mod also adds one amulet (sorry, only one) that can cast Kereska's Favour.  The amulet's default price is 1250 gold (at a 100 reputation score of course).  This amulet can be obtained from the main vendor at Sorcerous Sundries in the Lower City of Baldur's Gate, in Act III (a long rest may be required before the item shows up in the vendor's inventory).  To get this amulet any earlier in the game would be super cheesy.  If you feel that you need it right away or more than one, You can use the BG3 script extender console from norbyte's Baldur's Gate 3 Script Extender or the Spawn Any Item mod by AnteMaxx (UUID of amulet = 3f59bbef-312b-45de-8dee-6c5c6d6e7370 ).

Both this mod and my Kereska's Ring mod can be used at the same time.

This mod would not have been possible if not for the works of others.  As such, I would like to thank...

LegendOftheFall for the mod/tutorial Step by Step - A basic Modding Tutorial.
CptBreadbeard for the mod May The Force Be With You (Magic Ring and Amulet).
Ssin for the mod Ring of Eternal Night (I needed this one for the Sorcerous Sundries vendor code).
Youtuber Piepop101 for the video tutorial on how to upload a mod to the Nexus (apologies if I still mess it up).

Thank you all.
