About this mod

This mod adds a ring (and an amulet) to the game that gives you some abilities inspired by The Force from Star Wars.
When equipped it gives +2 to Persuasion, gives you the spell Friends, and lets you use Telekinesis as much as you want.

*I have now tested the mod. At least I can confirm it works for me. I've also updated it slightly.*

How to Get the Item
  • Buy it from the halfling trader near the entrance to the Druid Grove (Arron) for 1 gold.
  • Buy it from the goblin trader near the entrance to the Goblin Camp (Grat) for 1 gold.
  • (UPDATE) Loot it from the "tutorial chest." That's the one in the room where you pick up the Ornate Key.
  • (UPDATE) Buy it from Dammon at Last Light Inn in Act 2 for 2 gold (Possibly also Act 3, if his inventory goes with him.)((Also I don't know why it's 2 gold for him. I guess he takes a little off the top as a convenience fee.))
  • (Advanced) Use a cheat engine to add it to your inventory. UUID: e030d918-6481-466e-8386-81a3db174d63

  • Note: You will probably need to take a Long Rest OR level up a character to get the item to show up in the shop. Either one of those two actions should force the shops to refresh their inventories.
  • Note 2: The items will only show up in the first shop you check after it refreshes. If you open Arron's inventory and see the items, then they will NOT be in Dammon's inventory. This is because the items are marked as "Unique" and I don't feel like changing it.

How to Install the Mod
  • I would recommend using a mod manager to install mods for BG3. Either Laughing Leader's BG3 Mod Manager or Vortex.
  • Install like any other mod. If you don't already know how to do that, double check the steps below with other sources. I wrote these from memory.
  • Vortex:
  • Click the "Mod Manager Download" button for the mod file.
  • If it asks you if you want to create a mod from the .pak file, say yes.
  • Make sure the mod is "enabled."
  • Click "Deploy Mods" in Vortex.
  • Launch the game.
  • BG3 Mod Manager:
  • Click the "Manual Download" button for the mod file.
  • In the Mod Manager, go to File then Import Mod.
  • Select the .pak file from the downloaded mod.
  • Drag the mod from the right side (disabled) to the left side (enabled).
  • Save the Load Order, then export the Load Order to the game.
  • Launch the game.
