Thrilled to death with this mod: Tavflayer looks SO COOL!
Spoiler:
Show
It works throughout the big endgame fight, the post-fight scenes on the docks with your companions, and in the epilogue (Wither's party). If you choose to control the Absolute, it works throughout the whole sequence of taking control and sitting in the chair. There is a brief bit during your initial transformation where it doesn't work because that sequence is pre-scripted.
It does NOT work in the quiet, personal scene with your romantic partner in between the endgame + epilogue, though. (In that romance scene, your Tavflayer is wearing a less-armored suit so it's probably a different mindflayer model as far as the game is concerned.)
It doesn't affect the eyes on half-illithid characters, but you can get a similar effect this way:
Get any mod that disables the half-illithid eye effect, there are a bunch of them. Optional whether you want to keep the veins, that doesn't make a difference.
Get Eyes of the Beholder. You'll need both the main file AND the "Full Glow Eyes Preset".
Once you've installed both of those, you now have full control of your character's eye color using the base game Mirror: Go to the Mirror and choose the glowing eye color of your choice.
So question, would this mod work alongside something like the 'Ring of Ceremorphosis' mod, where you can become a mindflayer (specifically, you can become a player mindflayer) almost instantly at the game start?
Reason i ask is because, this would be awesome too use in conjunction with it... but i dunno if they'd work together like that.
What's this? Another illithid related mod from I didn't realize I probably can't live without? * Downloads and throws (teal) eyes into load order for "science" * Thanks for these mods, Jup. Hope you keep filling the specialized illithid mod void. :)
