This mod should be compatible with other mods as long as they don't modify the progression table for 1st level Sorcerers.
If you encounter any issues or bugs, please make a bug report rather than a comment so I don't have to move it manually. Also, please make sure you read the Potential Issues/Disclaimers section of the mod description before making a report—thanks! 😊
Is this mod compatible with other mods? Yes. Unless it changes the Sorcerers progression table for level 1, it should be compatible. If another mod does change the progression table, i.e. it's another Sorcerer related mod, I recommend using Compatibility Framework, which allows compatibility between subclasses. Any issues related to that mod should be directed to its comments section. This mod features innate support for that mod, and requires Script Extender to function.
Why doesn't the subclass show up in character creation? You probably either: 1) Didn't install it properly. Take a look at the installation guide at the end of the mod description. or 2) Haven't updated all your mods. Make sure that ImprovedUI and Script Extender in particular are up-to-date. or 3) Have other mods that overwrite it. Please place Community Library at the very top of your load order, and Compatibility Framework at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, try placing this mod further down in the load order. If the problem still persists, disable all other addons except the ones required by this mod, enable your mods one by one, and see which one is causing the issue.
X happens when I do Y, even though it shouldn't. Why? Your other mods are most likely causing a conflict. The first thing you would need to do is to update each and every single one of your other mods to make sure they're not the ones causing the problem. If you've done that and the issue persists, try respeccing out of this subclass before updating it, then respec back. If that doesn't help, disable all mods apart from the required ones and enable your them one by one to see which one is causing problems. Once you've done that and the issue still persists, you are welcome to open a bug report.
My mods are designed to be as non-dependent on other mods as possible, and I'm not responsible for issues appearing when playing with multiple mods. I will not go out of my way to accommodate or implement workarounds to make it compatible with mods other than the ones listed in the Required files section. If the authors of other mods that cause conflicts wish to do so, they may.
Can you make a version where everything is unlocked by the time you reach level 12? No.
Will you make a custom class icon? I demand a custom subclass icon/I can't stand seeing a skull icon. I have no such plans at the moment. We'll see if I have the time and energy to spare in the future. The skull icon is a mod conflict. Read about those above and please do not bother writing a comment before you've read it.
Could you make an alternative version of all your subclass mods where all skills are achieved at maximum level 12? That is, it currently requires an alternative mod to reach level 20, but that unbalances the game quite a bit since the enemies are not affected. It would be great if you could make the abilities of your subclasses that are obtained at levels higher than 12, be obtained at levels 10, 11 and 12
Encountered a bug, been pretty consistent across playthroughs and checking the other mods (although there was a small update patch today).
On levelling a character from 5>6 in ONLY this subclass, the level up animation will play and crash to desktop before the level up UI appears. Got this to repeat every time.
I don't mind either the Draconic Bloodline tag or the Wild Magic tag. It's like Brainstealer dragon, so the Draconic Bloodline tag is a good choice, and the conversation in the Wild Magic tag is fun. It's a waste to have only the Sorcerer tag in this high-quality mode. I'm sorry. My writing might be weird because I'm not an English speaker.
You can, but be aware that it's a lot more work than just replacing Shout_ArmsOfHadar with Target_Charm since Psionic Spells does more than just give you free spells. 😊 You're welcome to unpack the mod and use the files as a template for your own personal use—most of what you need is located in 3_Psionic_Sorcery.txt.
That's beyond the scope of this mod I'm afraid. You're welcome to modify the game files yourself by adding it into those classes' SpellLists.lsx files though. :)
Hi. Is it possible to use the Sorcerer Aberrant class with the Sorcerer Lunar class and get the spells? Is there a mod for that? Or can I only choose one?
I've installed your two sorcerer classes... Aberrant and Lunar. My main character is Aberrant and I'd like to multiclass with Lunar... But when it comes to choosing a sorcerer subclass I don't have that option... only for other classes... like bard and so on... And I really want to use these two subclasses on the same character and use their spells.
Okay... Is there a mod that does this? Or an edit of a file? Or can only the creator of the mod change the subclass to a class? That way I'd be able to use both sub
Like Divaroma says, you can't multiclass within the same class to use multiple subclasses. It's not really an option to make it one of them into an actual class to enable this I'm afraid.
Hello. I would like to try to play with your mod, but I'm not completely satisfied that the last achievement opens at level 15 and that for this you have to install a mod to cancel the level restriction. The comments discussed how to get this achievement at level 12, but I didn't quite understand how to do it and what is needed for this?
To further this, it seems as though it doesn't work when changing classes with Withers. It locks you out of those initial spells and cantrips, unlike when you are making a new character. So Swapping to Aberrant Mind Sorc mid playthrough seems to cause it.

(i don't want to add 5e Spells)
You might get no spells, except for the ones that you get at Lv1/3/5/etc.
Moving it to last in the Load Order fixed it, unsure what mod before it broke it. Easy enough fix though.
