Heya, thanks for the upload, just started a new run with it and I'm looking forward to that late game multiclassing. Since it's just a few changes to existing .txt files in the main game directory, a steam file verification should effectively uninstall this mod and the one it's based on right?
No, a reinstall or file verification won't remove it. Mods installed into the Data folder take priority over main game files without the need to overwrite them.
If you want to remove this mod all you need to do is just delete it from the same place you installed it. Just be aware that it will likely break your saves if you do so mid-playthrough.
How do we know if it works? I've extracted the folder from the zip, but now there's a regular folder called "Balanced Extra Levels Curve-3831-1-1-1698800236" sitting in my Data folder. There's a bunch of subfolders within that subfolder and I'm feeling a little lost on how to do this. Please help!
How would this feel adding it mid playthrough? Im almost done with act 1 and already lvl 5.
Try to keep in mind im doing a fully modded playthrough: 7-8 party members, tactician+ and i want to try a squeeze out a few more lvls with the multiclass mod like you mentioned.
Dang, thanks for catching that. Idk how that error slipped past me. I've uploaded a corrected version.
For anyone who already has the mod installed this fix doesn't warrant a reinstall. within your BG3 install directory just go to: \Data\Public\SharedDev\Stats\Generated\Data\XPData.txt
Within this text file go to line 25 and change the xp integer to "20000" so it matches the other levels past 12

Can you make the mod to also change the proficiency to +5 at level 13?

You should have extracted the "Data" folder. What you installed was the temp folder that nexusmods autogenerates when an archive is uploaded.

From what I understand the game will try to rescale the xp you have to fit the new curve which tends to cause bugs / break the save.

My mod only affects the XPData and treasuretable files ( w/ vendor fix ). It does not touch progression.lsx
