So if I get a suggestion and I find out the character doesn't have a unique asset for the Skin/Hair/Eye Colours I will list them here with their CC colour.
Anyone have any idea why this might not be working? Not just this, the other mod with NPC colors in CC, too. No clue why it wouldn’t be. Specific load order needed? Or any incompatible mods?
Hi, they are not unique. If it would be easier to find them though I could make duplicates of the colours he uses and assign his name to the duplicates.
It is yes, will be in next update that comes out when Patch 7 releases. Reason it wasn't in first version is I was avoiding spoilers in the game files.
It might just be the lighting, but I think Gronch the Half-Orc in the Rivington Refugee camp might have unique eye colour? Seems odd for just a random NPC but they look like a very dark red.
For some reason the eyes are just glowy, like the Astarion eyes for example. They no longer look like they did before, where they matched the character's eyes.
For Tieflings and any that naturally have a glow they will have glows. Like with other eye colours. They should not have a glow on the other races except maybe Dragonborn. I can look into making a version without the glows if you are wanting to use them on Tieflings.
So this is a picture of the Astarion eyes, they look the same on every race. They used to look different, that will be the second picture of the character in the cutscene. I tried them on human, elf, dhampir (which is the one in the second picture) and they all look like that
Are you using any mods that add glow to other races? that is the only way that would happen. I checked in my own game and they are still showing as they do in my images for non Tieflings/Dragonborn
confirming this is the case for me as well. example of how Shadowhearts and Astarions eyes look when I select your OG colors in my game.
I was gonna ask if it's a bug but I see now it might be because I have Glow Eyes mod installed. but I dont understand why it affects these shades tho? for example with glow eyes mod.. all the other normal colors in CC are still normal.. you have to select specifically the glowing shade to get the glow so it shouldn't affect these basic companion colors? Is there anything I can do to fix it? I really dont want to remove glow eyes mod since I use it on my Durge :) I know how to unpack mods.. if you can tell me which part I need to edit I can do it myself :)
As an update, once I am allowed to upload my updates there will be non glow options for the companions eye colours. I say allowed as I cannot release my current mod updates as I have made them in the bg3 toolkit. So once I am allowed to upload them here as well, I will.
I haven't said this before because I wasn't sure I was allowed to mention working on my mod updates in the toolkit or not. However we have been told we can.
I will also hopefully be implementing a feature that auto applies those colours when editing companions in mods that allow you to edit them such as AEE or Customizable Origins

Minthara uses Skin Tone: Wisteria Tone 3
EDIT: I think I just renamed it as such
