    This mod simply runs two console commands, rather than patching the game to increase the party limit. If you would prefer to run these commands yourself rather than using this mod, follow the instructions below:

    Osi.SetMaxPartySizeOverride(16)
    Osi.PROC_CheckPartyFull()

    • At the top left of the Mod Manager, click on 'Settings', then 'Open Settings'. Open the 'Script Extender' tab, then enable the 'Create Console' option. Then Launch into game.
    • Once in-game, tab into the console, and press enter once. Then enter the console commands listed above in the order they are presented.
    • To change the party limit, simply replace '16' with whatever number you would prefer.

    Party Limit Begone has been updated to use Script Extender, and so now it does the same thing as this mod, with the same method. Feel free to use either this mod, or Sildur's, they both have the same features and issues.

    If you want to play with more than four players in multiplayer, Sildur's mod has an optional file that allows that.

    Little question : I didnt have Lae'zel in my camp, talk to an other companions not in the group work like with her for destuck ?

      But Laezel is dead in my game, can i talk to an other character for the same result ?

      In the same time, i have an other question : i try the mods (without steam and the laucher, I just launched several instances of the game directly, I can't with steam or the launcher which prevents the game from launching more than once) and try to invit several other character, i have me, Astarion, and XX other players, but it's didnt work, only 3 others players can join, if a fifth player tries to enter the game the group is indicated as complete and it is rejected... 
      The mods don't allow you to create groups of more than 4 "real" players or did I do something wrong?
      Do I absolutely have to have steam or the launcher for it to work, as I read in a comment?
      In this case, how to launch several instances of the game at the same time?
      I'm trying to have a group of 9 Tav + Astarion, and the only solution I found was the "Recruit any npc" mod but that crashes the game at night (the mods is very outdated... https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1646), and the "party limits begone" by creating players with other versions of the game to then disconnect them and play them, but it has exactly the same problem that I currently have (the fifth player cannot come)

      I'm starting to get a little desperate, I don't know how people make it work... I hope I was clear about my words this time :) thanks for any help

      As far as I'm aware, it'll only with with Lae'zel. However you can still just initiate a group hide to fix the sleeping issue.

      You can only have four total players in multiplayer with this mod. However the total party limit is raised to 16. If you want to have more than four people in multiplayer, you need to use a different mod.

      If you want to play the game in singleplayer with nine custom characters, you can utilize the hirelings system to create them.

    HELP!
    I used the mod and all worked well. But after the boat section in the underdark 4 of my companions are permanently invisible! I didn't mind much since they still appear in dialogs and cutscenes but its started bothering me and I decided to try to send them to camp and try rehiring them. PROBLEM: I can't ineract with them and they are still invisible.

    What shoul I do? Don't wanna reload a previous save since the pre boat save is pretty far now.

      You have to reload pre-boat and follow the instructions in the description.

      dang is there really no fix for this at all? ~_~ this is going to lose me so much progress.............

      Edit:
      gonna try this and report back in already tried murdering one of them with aoe spells and resurrecting them and that did not fix, neither did taking them to camp.

      followed the instructions in the reddit post took the large boat back from the Grym place in underdark to where my 3 party members were stuck at the decrepit village dock invisible talked to the visible members of the party and sent them back to camp one by one until only the invisible 3 party members remained. I toggled grouping off and then on again to make sure they were grouped with my main character. Then i rode the large boat back to Grym and it took the invisible members of my party with me and in the cutscene they were visible again. When it was over and i arrived in Grym they were fixed! I then rode the large boat back to the decrepit village and clicked "enter camp" i then re recruited the 4 party members i sent back to camp to my party and now I'm playing with all 8 again no issues!

      The reddit thread said you may have to take the Large boat back and forth a few times to get it to work. Doesn't always work first try. The smaller single deck boat doesn't work to fix it has to be the larger boat with the stairs.

    Does this mod work mid-playthrough? I want to have all my companions at once on my main campaign but another mod like this I tried didn't work on an already existing save so i wanted to ask

      Yes, but you can only have four total players/player characters. The four players can have three companions each.

      It requires script extender which has a fix for achievements being disabled by mods built-in.

     Is there a way to force the game to do the conversations that won't end the game first? (Karlach convo ends the game if you go to avernus) resulting in the other companion conversations not playing, leading to an even more lacking ending.

    Are there any issues with downloading and activating this mid campaign? currently halfway(ish) act 3 and want to try this mod out to see if it can help me progress faster than I did.

    I just installed this to replace PLB since I dont use coop/multiplayers.
    Seems like this broke the path AI bc now the controllable character are taking the path that doesn't make sense to reach destination...

    E.g: in last light inn, I was on a balcony and clicked the ground to make the party go there but astarion instead went to the roof and jumped to ground from the roof above while the rest of the party followed but stayed at the roof. yeah he got to the exact spot I wanted but it's a bit..... out of the box 

    another example is in moonrise tower, near the entrance where the ghouls are around, I was meaning to jump the vineroot outside the building bc  it blocked my path but I probably misclicked and my tav instead climbed the root so she was one story higher and then jumped to the spot I clicked.... she lost 39 hp.... It's either this or the teleport spell I don't know

      This has nothing to do with mods afaik, this has been an issue for me in Act 2 in my modless co-op run. Spawning on the roof of Last Light or the stables outside with Dammon, I think it's a bug with the latest patch? Not sure but it is annoying. Haven't had any issues in Act 1 with this weird pathing.

      Its a vanilla bug. Sometimes it's Wyll sometimes someone else. They be liking the roof. :D :D

      I don't have this mod installed and the root thing outside moonrise tower happened to me as well.  It looked like they were on a suicide run (running up vine, jumping off up there).  On my first run, I had to put a crate next to the vine, climb on crate, then jump off crate to get to kitchen door.

    Thank you for making one of these without any of the hassle
    Been playing a couple dozen hours with it now on a heavily modded playthrough and its working like a charm. 

    The sleeping in at camp bug and the boat bug have occurred in my game, but in both cases suggested fixes worked in a pinch. Endorsed. THAMK
