Works with BG3MM in patch 7, just update all the stuff: https://www.reddit.com/r/BaldursGate3/comments/1faxckj/adding_mods_after_p7_master_post_with_links_wip/
they work as advertised, and with the stacking mod im using too, but this has made me notice something. the mighty cloth/bull's strength is supposed to double carry capacity, but even accounting for the +2 str, it seems to be actually slightly better than the 3x bag...might be something wrong with the cloth, always seemed to outclass anything else for carry weight
i was hoping they would stack with it, at least the ones that were not the same amount. but its nice to not be bound to the fugly mighty cloth.
Could you please make a version of this that just removes the underwear model from the underwear-slot bags please? The default underwear model it uses currently doesn't look good with mods like BCB.
Hello ! Might be a weird question but how do you safely uninstall the mod ? Cause it seems like it q=keeps on making my game crash when I just remove it from BG3 mod installer
Idk if i'm just lucky, but i updated mid run and got no problems so far. I first (still on the older version) loaded ma save and removed all old bags thru throwing them in the tutorial chest to despawn. Then i installed the new version, loaded ma save, long rest and then bought the bags new from the npc.
I always do it like this when its about a mod that adds an item into the game. And so far it always worked for such mods, armor mods etc.
Hey, thanks for that. I'm guessing you meant to respond to me, this has been my usual practice as well but I wanted to be double sure before messing with it haha, modding still seems a little fussy for BG3 since it's still fairly young and getting official patches.
Does the mod always spawn the bags if it's installed mid-game? I tried this mod a couple of weeks ago in Patch 5, when I was in Act 1, and there was no small bag on Grat in the goblin camp. I don't trust mod managers from past experience. So, I manually, carefully install each mod. Yes, I had ModFixer installed, and 10 other .pak mods that all worked fine. So, I thought maybe it was some glitch or whatever with just that vendor.
Then we get Patch 6 last week. I uninstalled every mod I had, and one-by-one I've reinstalled only the mods that've been updated for Patch 6. I'm in Act 2 now, and this mod was updated for Patch 6, also. So, I just installed it again from scratch. I even re-downloaded and installed ModFixer just in case, even though there was no update for it and my other updated .pak mods are fine. But there's no small bag or regular bag of holding on Quartermaster Talli.
What am I missing? Is there possibly a compatibility issue with some other mod? I'm using Patch 6 versions of Better Containers and Better Character and Party Panels, which of the ones I use seem like the only ones that might remotely be relevant. I was using Slightly Better Trade Menu, both in Patch 5 and even earlier today. But because it's not updated for Patch 6 yet and has some small bugs, I uninstalled it for now – even before putting this mod in. I haven't tried uninstalling every other mod except this one, because I'm not getting any error messages at all, and they're all working. *Shrug*
Is there something else I can do to spawn the items since I'm mid-game? I think I saw some comments before about UUIDs for the items and mods that use the Tutorial Chest? But I haven't messed with those types of mods at all yet. So, if that's something I should try, and someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Inventory management is the least fun part of BG3, like it is with most games, and I was hoping this mod could help with that.
Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere but is this type of mod safe to update mid-game or should I wait until I start a new one? Much appreciation for it by the way. My only guess why it isn't already in the game and why they seem against it (mundane chest vibes) is hopefully they have plans for something in a future dlc? Who knows haha thanks for everything! 🖤
Seem to be having a problem with the encumbrance calculations and the inventory actions menu. With a Large Bag of Holding equipped on a character, they now have a total carrying capacity of over 2000, and are carrying about 400, but when I try to use 'send to' them on a bag with 260 in it, it says they can't send it because they'd be encumbered.
I'm guessing there's a separate value in the code that's being used to make that judgment that this mod isn't interacting with?
Edit: It's not just the 'send to' menu, I now see. Can't even pick it up or transfer it into the character's inventory via any type of interaction
To be extra clear, I can pick up 120lbs of items out of my camp chest in the form of, say, the six 20lb molds from the grymforge, all at once by multiselecting them and picking them all up, but I can't pick up a camp-supply bag with 111lbs of food in it, the menu says it's too heavy. I CAN however open the camp bag and take all the items out at once
After some digging, I found it. There's a value for how heavy a single object you can pick up, and bags count as a single object (which is dumb). In order for this mod (or your Bags of Sorting mod, maybe?) to enable a character to pick up or transfer a bag that's heavier than their single object limit, you'd need to also code the mod to change the [key "PickupObjectMultiplier"] value to something higher
Is this a thing you could add?

Thanks for the mod either way! It's such a help.
