Mod looks great, excited to try it but can someone please explain how to install it? and please just don't reiterate to use vortex or to unpack it as I'm trying not to use vortex, to use Bg3MM and there is nothing to unpack when I install it - just options to open and no .pak file when I do. Is there something I'm missing?
This isn't a pak file mod. You just extract the zip into your BG3 data folder, like the description in the Files tab says.
So that means is that you download the mod (manual, not mod manager download). Then open the file you just downloaded. It's a rar, so you might need to have a program like 7zip or winrar to be able to open the file. Windows can handle zips natively, but I'm not sure about rar files. So if you don't have either program yet, google 7zip and download it from their official website, then open the mod file with that program.
Once you've opened it, you'll see a folder called Generated in there. Open windows explorer and go to your game's install location (usually will be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldurs Gate 3 but might be different depending on where you installed the game). In the game's install folder, you'll see some other folders. Open the Data folder. In the Data folder you'll see a Generated folder. Don't open this. Instead, drag the Generated folder from the mod download into the Data folder. This will make the existing Generated folder in the game files merge with the mod Generated folder you donwloaded. Don't drag it on top of the Generated folder, this will create a new Generated folder inside of it, which isn't going to work, make sure that you drag it into the Data folder.
There shouldn't be any prompts to override, unless if you already installed another mod that edits the same assets. So uninstalling should be as easy as deleting the file you downloaded, but only that file and folders that the mod added. Don't delete the entire Generated folder.
Hope that makes sense, and sorry if it's too over-explained for you lol
Amazing mod, but I wish it came in different degrees like the mod Reduced Veins, or if you could make it compatible with https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/1021
I like it but there are jarring/stark on the right side of my characters head which might be hidden by most hairs. I fixed it myself in paint.net, I can send you the file if you want it.

Oh and just in case anyone curious, half illithid face - left side mean * your character's * left side. Not left side from our pov.
You can actually find the mod from MangoPunch called "Illithid Eye Effect Remover" :)
