You dont need to remove items from invertory or delete them when updating its totally safe. Sheath version works standalone, this version adds new Legendary weapons than can be sheath. You can use both versions. Both mods standalone you can install two of them and will have more versions of weapons, instal via BG3ModManager its pak. files

Infinity Fire buff doesn't seem to work. Tried with both cantrips and spells. Also no buff icon is appearing, like the spell has no effect at all. It makes casters quite useless compared to the power of those melee weapons in nightmare mode.
Also, it would have been nice to have a choice of whether or not we want the weapons hidden during dialogues. For now I can just take an older version, but if you add stuff on an update later I'll have to choose between the update or the visible weapons during dialogues. Same remark for your other mod (Dark Urge Demonic Blood Swords).

But could u be so nice and pls add a version where the weapons just have that white-ish glow effect on the weapon itself? But without the fire/black lines and distortion elemental effect which is constantly "pulsing" from the middle of the weapon? For whatever reason that effect seems to be persistent in cutscenes even when the weapons arent visible. It kinda takes over a lot of the screen when u wear the weapons on all companions. And as an older lady i also tend to easily get migraines from effects like that on my screen, especially when trying to focus on dialogues. The weapons are otherwise really amazing tho! And i actually would adore if they themselves would just have that fancy white-ish glow on them, because that seems to disappear in dialogue/cutscenes WITH the weapon and doesnt cause visual issues.
Or maybe just a way to have them fully disappear (weapon AND effect) when talking to an npc or being in a cutscene would do the trick too really.
Is the passive Guiding bolt component only suppose to work with using the range weapon? its very vague and it shows up in the combat log that the enemy failed a Save on it but it doesn't get applied

Is the infinity ring supposed to remove the annoying flame/glow cosmetic from the weapons that already come with it? Or is there a way to do that? it's bugging me a lot lol.
Ring can remove only effect that it adds, thats why it comes with pack of all Infinity weapons without effects. This one weapons have permanent effects and cannot be removed. If it destracts your cut scenes just use Invisible weapons
