WHAT THIS MOD DOES
- It applies a growing fungi visual to the Symbiotic Entity feature, but without the intrusive, moldy overlay so you can still actually see your character's body. Now you can actually look like you have a symbiotic relationship with your fungus!
Note: for some reason it doesn't seem to work with body types other than 1 and 2. This is probably because it was coded back in EA and there aren't really any other humanoid body types in the Underdark, which is exclusively where the original spell can be used. - It adds support for Circle of Spores progression up to level 20 (you still need a mod that allows levelling past 12 though), adding the Fungal Body passive and damage scaling for Halo of Spores at level 14 in the process. See the entry on Fungal Body below on what it does.
- It changes the display name for the subclass from "Circle of the Spores" to "Circle of Spores," which is its official name in 5e. It's honestly been bugging me ever since I first saw it.
At 14th level, the fungal spores in your body alter you: you can't be blinded, frightened, or poisoned, and any critical hit against you counts as a normal hit instead unless you're incapacitated.
NOTES
Should work without issue, although I'm not sure the crit immunity is in place since I haven't been able to fully test it. If you notice that it doesn't, let me know.
INSTALLATION WITH BG3 MOD MANAGER
1.
Start BG3 Mod Manager and press the "Open Mods Folder" button on the top bar, or press Windows + R and type %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods\.

Open "CircleofSporesEnhanced.zip" and place "CircleofSporesEnhanced.pak" in the Mods folder.

Refresh the mod list in BG3 Mod Manager by pressing F5, and move the mod from inactive mods to active mods in the mod manager window. If you encounter any issues, try placing it further down in the load order. Make sure you use the "Public" profile.
4.
Click "Save Load Order to File" in the top bar and launch the game.
