Yeah, visually the mod works even with Patch 7, but this “empty hand” doesn't give the Duelist bonus. But I've found a solution.
You can equip any other shield and use Transmog Enhanced to replace your shield's appearance with this "hand", thus you can make any shield invisible and it'll also make your shield work without specialization. Maybe it's kind of a cheat, but I'm happy.
Man i just do what you said and work. It's awesome i want to keep the +2ac but i want to have the phar aluve plus the bonus of the Duelist passive and it just works XDD. Sorry if dosen't understand i don't speak English haha
Sadly, it won't be compatible with any mod that touch on the basic spell set... I guess the dodge mod author added it through that spellset. It's the same issue with the unlocked unarmed strike I incorporated to this mod. If you want to try it yourself you can look for that spell set and basically add both the dodge and the empty hand spell (you'll find it easily by unpacking my mod, it's quite simple) I'll try to take the time to add it myself soon, I don't think it would cause any issue.
I looked up how to do this and not confident so I'll wait. But thank you! I've wanted something like this for a while. Bugged me that my modded subclasses couldn't do this (KEnsei Monk and Bladesinger Wizard come to mind.)
Edit: Not sure where it's from, but I do have a dodge action with this mod as well. So best of all worlds!
Incase anyone has the same lil issue i had about the Free Hand just replaces your current shield, no stats or nothing, not even the AC, simply get the Ultimate Transmog mod, and you can simply change your current shield's appearance to the Free Hand after you've summoned it.
Was wondering if a mod could be created that is essentially a Main Hand "weapon" with the Light Property that only provides the Unarmed Strike action. Perhaps using the same Icon as Free Hand, but mirrored?
To clarify, I'd like to be able to use fists as main attack, but also keep a Light (or non-Light with Dual Wielder Feat) in my offhand.
I'm aware of a workaround that exists in-game that allows equipping like this, but having a mod to do it would make it significantly more convenient.
Hi, its not proccing the fighting syle bonus damage here. Do you think patch 3 might have broken it? I also have the finesse longsword mod here, do you think it might have something to do with it? (although I'm using Phalar Aluve rn and its still not proccing dueling)

It still baffles me there's not an option to one-hand Versatile weapons.

Unfortunate :/
If you know any way to make it let me know I know a bit of stuff about modding

Hope this helps.
