So I'm running this path in my current D&D campaign. It's a fun subclass. Question, would you be adding the ability to choose the elemental damages you can imbue your weapon with as well? plus the insta weapon return after you throw it?
the author hasn't been around since September i think...the mod still seems to work ok but larian patches a lot. someone is likely going to have to pick this up or continue the work (hopefully it's a great foundation) at some point
This mod is not compatible with Caster Barbarian mod, because Hunter's Mark increases the thrown attack too much, and the Barbarian is weaker than the Warrior without this spell. I really want the Barbarian to be able to cast spells.
I've been away for some time. I *may* be updating this to make sure it still works and dig thru comments looking for suggestions for funnzies but no promises. I have changed the permissions so anyone is free to modify this as they please now.
Weirdly I noticed in the game files there's a reference to something called "Aspect Of The Giant" which seemed like a stronger version of enlarge. I wonder if Larian intended to make a subclass similar to this at some point, but it was cut out?
When using the fire version of the elemental damage added, I crashed after hitting a target, but with other damage types, no crash.
Potential issues are (things I had active while this was crashing): Using a soul coin (also using this mod) Using one of or a combination of these mods (immolation, infernal heart)
If anyone is having similar issues, try using other damage type for the giant form. I don't know if those are for sure the mods causing the conflict, just wanted to share my experiences for anyone else who may be having similar issues.
Want to further note that I have had issues with crashing now on the other variations of this classes additional elemental damage onto your melee attacks. It seems to be any fight ending attack (meaning kills or KO's the last target(s)) WHILE the giant form (i.e. raging in this subclass) seems to risk the game crashing. I do want to also note that: I am currently playing with 291 loaded mods/patches/utilities, so this could be from a simple conflict, as potentially mentioned in the parent post. However, this mod in particular seems to be the discernable culprit via common denominator. Hope this helps - writing all this not to suggest this mod is bad, its actually really fun and well made, just having some issues with crashing.
seems to work for me on objects but I can't get crushing hurl to let me throw creatures like the tool tips says. seems to work ok otherwise and adds rage bonus
