基本修改

盾牌进行了分类,如下:

轻型盾牌
能固定在前臂的小型护盾,1d8+3的伤害格挡,此盾牌哪怕在盾牌大师手里也不足以有效遏制重击的发生,但轻型盾牌在大师手里能额外提供+2AC(偏斜加值)

中型盾牌
标准盾牌,1d10+3的伤害格挡 -- 参考PHB2024 武僧的格挡数值,盾牌大师可以额外获得 +1 AC(偏斜加值)
力量属性至少 9 点,否则装备后 移动速度 -2m(6.5 ft尺)

重型盾牌
更大更重的盾牌,更好的减伤防御1的1d12+3的伤害格挡。难以灵活掌控所以即使是盾牌大师也无法从中获得 AC的加值,隐藏优势特性会在后面的版本更新...
力量属性至少 11 点,否则装备后 移动速度 -2m(6.5 ft尺)


特殊盾牌:

  • 塔盾
巨大的盾身,导致普通盾牌熟练反而会有 -1 AC的闪避惩罚,但盾牌大师专长拥有者不会有此减值。伤害格挡 3d4+3+体质调整值;还有些其他隐藏优势特性要等之后的版本更新...
力量属性至少 12 点,否则装备后 移动速度 -2m(6.5 ft尺)

  • 破旧盾
状况极其糟糕的盾牌,当然性能会比较差劲,伤害格挡 1d6+2。优势?可能会有?

  • 临时盾
其实不是盾?可能是个玩具,可能是一块木板,也可能本质就是一段木桩,伤害格挡 1d4。临时盾在减伤方面没有优势,但盾牌大师可以用临时盾,做出双持: 双械对决一样,靠反应动作影响对手重击达成。
临时盾牌会尽量当初副手武器以双持的特性来处理,好处应该是随处可得。

盾牌:反应格挡
盾牌不再直接提供 AC(闪避或偏斜),而是盾牌熟练的角色可以用不同的类型的盾牌进行反应格挡(不限于“盾牌大师”,盾牌大师的格挡更具优势)。此类格挡不限于物理伤害 -- 但正常的盾牌对,剧毒,心灵,黯蚀,力场伤害无法有效格挡。

盾牌大师: 守备

拥有盾牌大师专长的可以根据盾牌的不同获得偏斜AC +值,每种盾牌是不同的但差别并不多。
  • 盾牌大师有反应: 介入盾牌的特性 -- 原版反射闪避同效,发动需消耗反应
  • 盾牌大师: 盾击 -- 尚未修改,之后会修改
  • “盾牌”对重击影响 -- 反应: 遏阻重击(盾牌)
除了反应格挡伤害之外,盾牌的反应格挡对重击有干扰的效果,盾牌大师持握合适的盾牌,可以将Roll 20重击的结果改判为18,在概念上可以干扰包括冠军勇士的重击威胁,但需要有反应动作。持握盾牌的角色,反应动作就显得相对重要一些。

  • 双持客: 双械对决(近战) | 反应: 遏阻重击(近战)
这里有个特别的设计,关于双持或者副手持握“临时”盾牌的设计。双持(需双持客专长)或是持握临时盾牌(需盾牌大师专长)都可以依靠反应对重击进行干扰,但只能干扰近战攻击的重击(远程和法术重击都无能为力),而且Roll 20的重击结果只能改判为19,因此无法干扰冠军勇士等扩大范围的重击威胁。


将来修改方向:

  • 数值调整
  • 调整盾牌大师盾击特性
  • 给重型盾和塔盾加上更多特性
  • 希望可以将盾牌做出具有武器特性的能力,当然目前看来很难。先尽量让剑盾和双持在某种意义上能够接近而不现代突兀最好。
  • 对于副手武器或盾牌,应该会做不要求一定装备在手里的情况下可以用到遏阻重击的特性。代价是通过反应快速从背包顺手拔出副手装备装上。此时如果手里是双手武器或是不能双持的武器会掉落在地上。这个设计会兼顾两用武器或是不想一直装备盾牌,但又会去学习盾牌大师专长的玩家做准备的。此功能特性应该会用到 SE 才能实现。所以稍后才会加入。

兼容性问题

由于必须支持某个Lib,所以第三方盾牌装备应该基本都不能兼容,我会根据情况出相关补丁的。有兴趣的轻稍安勿躁。

Basic Modifications

Shields have been categorized as follows:
• Light Shields
Small shields that can be strapped to the forearm.Even in the hands of a Shield Master,these shields are not sufficient to effectively prevent critical hits.However,a Light Shield in the hands of a master provides an additional+2 AC(deflection bonus).

• Medium Shields
Standard shields with a damage block of 1d10+3,referencing the blocking values of monks in PHB 2024.A Shield Master can gain an additional+1 AC(deflection bonus).Hidden advantages will be updated in future versions.

• Heavy Shields
Larger and heavier shields offering better damage reduction and defense.Due to their unwieldy nature,even a Shield Master cannot gain an AC bonus from them.Hidden advantages will be revealed in future updates.

Special Shields:
• Tower Shields
These massive shields can impose a-1 AC penalty for those proficient with standard shields,but this penalty does not apply to those with the Shield Master feat.Additional hidden advantages will be introduced in future updates.

• Tattered Shields
Shields in extremely poor condition with subpar performance.What advantages they might have remain to be seen.

• Improvised Shields
Not really shields at all?Perhaps a toy,a piece of wood,or essentially just a stick.These will be treated as off-hand weapons for dual-wielding purposes,with the benefit of being readily available.

Shield Reactive Blocking:

Shields no longer directly provide AC bonuses for dodging or deflection.Instead,characters proficient with shields can use different types of shields to perform reactive blocks.These blocks are not limited to physical damage but are ineffective against poison,psychic,necrotic,and force damage.

• Shield Master:Defense
Characters with the Shield Master feat gain deflection AC bonuses based on the type of shield,though the differences between shields are minimal.Shield Masters have a reaction:Shield Intervention feature.Shield Bash(Shield Master)-Not yet modified,but will be in the future.

"Shield" Impact on Critical HitsReaction:Thwart Critical Hit(Shield)
In addition to blocking damage,a shield's reactive block can interfere with critical hits.A Shield Master holding an appropriate shield can change a roll of 20(critical hit)to an 18.This can conceptually interfere with critical threats from Champion Fighters,though it requires a reaction.For characters holding a shield,the reaction becomes relatively important.

Dual Wielder:Dual Weapon Dueling(Melee) - Reaction:Thwart Critical Hit(Melee)
There is a special design for dual-wielding or holding an"improvised"shield in the off-hand.Dual-wielding or holding an improvised shield can interfere with critical hits using a reaction,but only for melee attacks(ranged and spell critical hits are unaffected),and a roll of 20 can only be changed to a 19.This means it cannot interfere with the expanded critical threat range of Champion Fighters.

Future Modification Directions:

  • Numerical Adjustments
  • Adjust the Shield Master's Shield Bash feature.
  • Add more features to Heavy Shields and Tower Shields.
  • Aim to give shields weapon-like characteristics,though this seems challenging at present.The goal is to make sword-and-shield and dual-wielding more balanced without feeling modern or out of place.
  • For off-hand weapons or shields,there will likely be a feature that allows for critical hit interference without requiring the equipment to be held.The cost would be a reaction to quickly draw the off-hand equipment from a backpack and equip it.If holding a two-handed weapon or a weapon that cannot be dual-wielded,it would drop to the ground.This design will cater to players who use versatile weapons or do not want to constantly equip a shield but still learn the Shield Master feat.This feature will likely require SE to implement,so it will be added later.

Compatibility Issues:


• Due to the necessity of supporting a specific Lib,third-party shield equipment will likely be incompatible.I will release relevant patches as needed.For those interested,please stay tuned.
