      ps:new forms of bombs and bomb damages, mixure elixers and specialized damage coatings(like poison but psychic or necrotic damage) would be fun

    The later discoveries doesn't work as intended, in the description it say make bombs smaller so it can be shot with arrows, yet all it did was give me the normal fire bomb formula, the same with another new bomb discovery of the same lv, also just give me the regular acid bomb. Am i have to pick all 4 of the basic bomb before for it to work normally ?

      Thanks for pointing this out - the issue has been patched and all later bomb discoveries now work as intended!

      It's still not work, gas bomb discovery and the upgrade still give me the basic one, arrow bomb just give me the icon and new action but it wont let me target anyone, the same case as healing bomb before you fix it.

      Wondering if it's just due to you loading a save that already has the discoveries, because I just re-tested all of those abilities and they're working fine for me.

      Sorry if I'm asking you to roll back far, but would you be able to load a previous save and try picking up the discovery again?

      I respec out of the class, save then remove the mod, load in to create a fresh save, then reinstall the mod yet the problem still there. Don't really want to trouble you so much though cause i can just alter my build around the other bomb so it's fine if you can't figure out the problem.

      Okay, so I think the issue was actually with Vortex after all that lmao, it was using the wrong file version. I've verified that everything in the new file is working correctly on my end, including icons which I re-converted. Let me know if you're still having issues, and thanks for helping me workshop this issue haha.

      Currently the bombs' damage scaling will work up to 20, but it's not built to bring Alchemist all the way up to 20. I can update to just offer Discovery/Spell selection beyond level 12 if that's what you're looking for! The biggest issue is just that all the spells over 6 aren't vanilla and I'd prefer not to have dependencies on custom spell mods.

      You don't need to—can just use it for upcasting. But you can also add spells from custom mods without needing them as dependencies. If you add something from 5e Spells, PF2e Spells, or Valkrana's Spellbook to a spell list and that mod isn't active, it'll just be ignored.

      You can also just fill out the progressions data so that it can be leveled into, even if it's only for the bare minimum of spell slots and HP.

      Changelog is updated and levels will properly scale up to 20 now, though it's only basic support for the time being.

    THANK you so much for this. 

    My wife played "this 😉" alchemist in a friend's campaign for our table top sessions and she loved the character but unfortunately the campaign fizzled out. Now she gets to play it again 😭

    • imma currently on level 6, and i dont recieved any new type of bomb since level 3, i know i still can grab new formulas from discovery list, i mean discovery list wasnt updated with new bombs since level 3, that kinda sad

      Hey! There actually are additional discoveries at level 6 but if you went Demolition as your subclass, you gain access to the later bomb discoveries early. You'll have a variety of new discoveries every even level from there on out, though!

    Personally I feel like this class should be given some damaging cantrips considering the number of bombs are limited per long rest and the main stat is intelligence therefore a melee build is not optimal. Unless i'm playing it wrong.

      Hey, I appreciate the feedback, and I should probably document this better but the bombs are considered thrown weapon attacks - the damage scales with intelligence and levels, but the attacks themselves are weapons in order to encourage using strength or dex weapons. In particular I've enjoyed running it with crossbows/hand crossbows, but the vivisection archetype is designed to play in melee as well!
