Q : Does it preemptively hide empty containers without need of searching them ?
A : Not now, you have to search and loot them. It's a planned feature for later but I don't know yet how to implement this feature, so not for now and the next days at least.
Uh to update to the new pak version of hide looted containers I will need to delete the previous WorldToolTips.xaml file in the data directory right? To avoid conflict.
I'm installing on Mac, so I have to do it manually. Does anyone have the modsettings for All in One version? I'd need UUID, MD5, version number and the folder/name.
Alright, I honestly rarely post on these forums, only when there is something important, and this is, very important.
Like others said, this mod is currently broken. It doesn't look like that at first glance, everything seem to be working fine and dandy. I can look past the broken features like toggle, I could honestly care less about it. I remapped the left alt functionality to Q and with WASD movement mod, this is somewhat easy to circumvent, however...
The thing that bothers me more is this. When this mod is in your load order, anywhere in it really, bottom, top, doesn't matter - it removes survival checks from hidden loot in the world. You know those places where you have to dig. Well, with this mod, your party won't even make the survival check, yet alone fail it. I can still dig on the place where I know for sure there is a hidden chest, and oh boy, do i dig it up, but when this mod is enabled, game will always behave like nothing is there. No survival check at all.
Be careful when installing this mod. At the time of writing it is almost 2 months old, which means it only works up to version 4.1.1.3732833 which is Patch 3 and Hotfix 6. Two months later, we are now at version 4.1.1.3956130 or Patch 4 Hotfix 11 - totally not compatible with it.
If you, like me, found this mod from YouTube videos, where is universally praised, be careful. Game got 6 updates while this mod got 0.
So while I agree the mod is hugely out of date, I have the most recent version installed (and have had since the day it dropped), and have not had any issue with survival checks for hidden loot. I don't agree with this assessment.
Yeah, I'm not having this problem either (patch 5, hf 15.) Edit to add: I'm using the version WITHOUT the toggle (with AiO plus Collector editions,) since I already have that feature from another mod. If I were to take a guess, I'd try removing the "Secret" edition if you have it and see if your problem is solved. Base AiO+Collector(+SearchForBlood until recently) all work great for me.
Been using the mod since Patch 3 onwards and I could only confirm an issue with two survival checks for hidden chests in the entirety of Act 1. There are so many others that have been detected as normal it's really only a very minor issue, and certainly not something that has affected my experience.
But for new users the way to avoid this issue entirely is already in the Bugs section. Seems it only occurs when starting a new game with the mod already enabled, and doesn't happen when the mod is added to an existing save. I've tested that method out myself on a new game and the survival checks for those two chests appeared normally.
So I recommend you DO install, because the mod's been excellent so far.
Theres more. This mod has the ability to break a great many things. Basically, he's copied over every object's template file, then tweaked the property for highlighting. But a TON of stuff is in these templates. Anything changed in a patch within these templates, beyond when this was last updated, will revert, and break. It'll likely do so in a way that is incredibly subtle, but potentially story or game breaking. Basically, this applies to any object that is highlighted by this mod. If the template was changed in a patch for that object, the patch essentially doesn't count. I woukd highly recommend NOT using this mod.
The problem is lack of choices I have. There are several highlight mods out there but nothing like this. All of them except this one gave me wall of floating texts not highlights.
With patch 4, the highlight toggle is not working for me, both the toggle and the omission of empty containers. I can't gauge if the main "All in one" mod is working. My current mods are presented here: https://ibb.co/SBJsfJs
Same here, using both the toggle and non-toggle version, it doesn't toggle alt or hide empties. Thank you for all your work! Here's hoping its an easy fix!
Thanks for the tip. That works well. For those interested I loaded the following mod after this one in the load order and alt toggle and hide looted both work again:
I started to use alt toggle from the link you given (enhanced world tooltips). It is working for me, but I when I open something and get my cursor over items, the alt toggle drops. Is this happening to everyone or did I do something wrong?
That happens to me as well. The alt toggle seems to stay until you click on something. In addition to Enhanced World Tootlips I use Aura of Revealing https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/2780.
I encountered a problem. I didn't check to see what mods this wouldn't work with, and I already had ImprovedUI mod installed. When I added the All in One Edition, All the images when I open boxes to loot are gone. Item images are there in trade screen and inventory, but not when opening crates, boxes, baskets, people, etc to loot, even including camp box. This affects saves from before the mod was installed. I uninstalled this mod-didn't fix it. uninstalled improvedui-didn't fix it. unistalled both this and improvedui and still not fixed. Does anyone have an idea why it could be and what I could do to fix other than potentially staring a new game? because this affects previous saves from weeks ago. Thank you!

Q : How work the modular system ?
A : You can use the "All in one Edition" alone and with PAK below :
- SearchForBlood
- Wanderer
- Collector
- Trap
- Secret
But not with other PAK
Any other PAK than "All in one" can be used alongside with any Edition.

Q : I don't see optional files I installed with mod manager
A : They are at the bottom in the Overrides category as yellow/brown one

Q : I don't have any highlight, mod don't work
A : Check if you have ImprovedUI Showallitems addon or any other mod modifying the highlight feature, it's not compatible.

- None, give your feedback :)
Also craving a version like Collector's edition but for various other useless but grabbable items like buckets, skulls, bones, rope. Hoarder edition.
Anyone know why this is not compatible with Enhanced World Tooltips?
Kind of got it working together...2. Remove Level folder
3. Repack
4. Do not install secret.pak
