Patch 6 Compatible If you experience an issue, please give a clear and detailed explanation. This mod no longer needs Compatibility Framework for spell list compatibility, only Script Extender.
Requesting Mod Support While it's easy af for other mods to add support for Valkrana's spells to their spell lists, I realize that most just plain don't. I'm open to adding spell list support for most any mod, but I ask that you get the mod UUID and spell list UUIDs from the mod creator beforehand.
Known issue: Sometimes Unsealed Soul doesn't automatically drop itself into your hotbar when you prepare it. You can either drag it there or find it under individual spell levels. Don't know why.
Just sharing a small story about it. Here i was, attacking the Grove as a good little absolutist i am, when mr. druid trader Arron (who sells the scrolls for most of this mod's spells) decides to blast my entire party with Valkrana's Arc Vivisector, one shotting 3 of my party members, and leaving me absolutely shocked about what had happened.
So that's what that was! I was so confused when Arron blasted 3 goblins and a druid with one attack, turning them all into steaming piles of viscera and taking himself down in the process. Was one of the most epic moments of the raid haha
Anyone else having issues with health regen for Infuse Undeath? It worked the first time it was applied for about 1 battle but then afterwards you no longer heal at the start of your turns. Out of battle if your health drops below 25% of your max hp it will auto regen until that threshold.
I am a bit confused about the load order You say "before" 5e and "after" DreadOverlord but DreadOverlord needs to be "after" 5e and says this mod should be after both
It doesn't matter anymore since 5e Spells requires SE so that part of the equation is null. I don't remember why this needs to load after DO—might be a remnant from before spell list compatibility was done more elegantly with SE. You can try to load before DO to see if it makes a difference, and to avoid overwriting any spells it might have added to the list. If not, move this after DO.
I'll just be giving a comment about what I think of the mod. (I'm using Translate, sorry if something is a little strange to understand!)
1st Valkrana's Glow-in-the-Dark Skeletons (Very funny, by the way, I'm always laughing): however I think it should be limited to classes that can learn such magic, all classes that use magic have it released by default at lvl 1, and I wish there was a way to manually control the skeletons since they always go into automatic combat (I play on Specialist and I don't know if there's a way to disable this).
2nd Valkrana's Bone Liquefaction: I didn't find many uses for this spell other than using it on the undead with the passive of reviving with 1 life, I think it's pretty bad overall.
3rd Valkrana's Unsealed Soul: I felt that it is a little buggy when used with the spell that increases HP by 5 points per level of the cleric class (Assistance, I hope the name translates correctly), after releasing the seal with this level 5 spell (which I have tested so far) You return with Base HP instead of actually losing 33% health.
4th Valkrana's Dread Skeleton: For me, these skeletons are very strong, they have two actions and do a lot of damage. I think that's it and if I could increase the base damage of Valkrana's Shadowfell a little it would be much more useful.
Thank you for your attention and sorry for the large text!!
Thanks for the comment. I'll try to reply to most of it.
I recommend using Bone Liquefaction on creatures that have multiple attacks, or in coordination with a character that has trailing necrotic damage on their attacks or who uses something like Shadowfell Salvo. An extra 1 or 2 damage on an attack is the equivalent of an increase in damage die size. It's also very effective against dragons or creatures with the Unstoppable buff. It's a spell that can be weak on its own, but can have strong combinations or niche applications.
Regarding Unsealed Soul, do you mean the Aid spell? I did test it with temporary HP, but I'll give it another test to see if that's the case. Unsealed Soul isn't one I use often, personally. It did work with temp HP during my tests, but I can try again if so.
I agree that Dread Skeletons are strong for the spell level. If it were just me using them, I probably would have nerfed them by now. They're only still at their power level because players seem to like them that way.
Shadowfell Salvo is pretty in line with 5e's power curve, so I'd like it to stay balanced as a player who actually uses the spell often.
Our opinions might differ on some things, but hopefully, I've provided some insight into how to better use Bone Liquefaction.
Thank you for your answer, you expanded my range of options for using magic (I'm not fluent in English so the language barrier is a bit difficult to interpret). As I don't use many different spells from the mod, I can't talk about the other spells because I haven't managed to release them yet. Thanks for your attention, I'll be back later to give you an update.
Damage increases one die per level as per 5e standard. 1d12 necrotic, then 1d12 lightning, then 1d12 necrotic. I'll add an upcast description in the next update.
Thank you for your mods, you do a great job. Is there any way I can control the summons? They come with the Automatic status and act on their own, sometimes "ruining" specific strategies and targets. Thanks again for the work!
The only ones that should be uncontrollable are the Glow-in-the-Dark skeletons. That's just how the gremlins work as a stand-in low-level reanimation spell.
As more and more units are summoned and the loading time becomes longer and longer, whether it is a direct long break or a long break after the summoner is expelled, the loading time will become longer and longer, and now it takes about 10 minutes to read files in the Dark Region. Each time the hard disk is an ssd, the main reason for each load is that the CPU usage is high and the hard disk is not read much. Is there a similar way to clear the summoning cache in the archive?
Thank you very much, I used the mod you said to solve my problem perfectly, I like your MOD very much, I like to summon many undead teammates to fight with me
I personally avoid Throne of Bone, Unsealed Soul, and Dread Skeleton in my games, because they're the overtuned ones. I'm also somewhat conservative because I operate in 5e standards rather than BG3's insane power curve.

10/10, would be blasted again
All thanks to Valkrana's Negative Energy Field. When he used that spell, I was flabbergasted; he nearly TPK'd my party, I was freaking out.
Bravissimo.
You say "before" 5e and "after" DreadOverlord
but DreadOverlord needs to be "after" 5e and says this mod should be after both
Soo... I can't do both orders at the same time
