I’m in the middle of a pre-patch 7 multiplayer playthrough, after which I plan to migrate my mods to the official dev kit. That should make them available in the Mod Manager. I’m not sure how long it will take, but there is a plan.

Since the tall verdan use the gith model, would it be possible to have their heads converted as presets for gith Q-Q <3?

I'm sure this is just a me thing, but I was wondering if anyone has had a problem of floating heads? If so, what's the fix? I have no other mods loaded. If this is not the right place for this, I can post elsewhere.

I haven’t experienced this myself, but when I’ve seen people talking about floating heads, my impression is that changing the rendering quality to high fixes it.

That said, I would’ve thought 4 levels of LODs on the heads and bodies would prevent this.

That did fix the issue. I forgot I had all my laptop and game settings set to as low as they can go. Thank you!

A few of the hairs don’t fit snuggly on the small heads, but most fit great. The beards only have resources for tall bodies, but they fit great too. Some New Horns all fit perfectly, even though the Verdan don’t have stumps to connect to.

I’ll have to see if I can make some adjustments for the hair on small heads that are more noticeably not rooted to them. I’m waiting to get permissions before i put out the other hairs. But, I don’t think there’ll be an issue.

The Glitzy Horns don’t have resources for short bodies. Also, they are floating in front of/slightly above my custom masc heads. The Glamour Bull horns have a gap on the sides of the fem heads, but the rest fit very well. So, I’m going to have to figure out what to do about these, before I ask to publish a patch.

Yeah horns thats how must races r with them, u can look at undead race or trips goblin race to see examples but dont worry if they all dont work and stuff, long as they look Good then its fine lol

Ill say copy fairy race since yall the only two that do the tall and small body size thing and yeah permission first lol

Ill say if they dont fit right then move on to the next ill say lol just a small number of faces, horns and hairstyles for ppl to pick from is good enough lol

Lastly i do want the Astralities' Glow Eyes and his other eyes to work with this aswell

EDIT: Half-Tiefs (Tiefling Horns and Tail for All)

Version 9 also includes custom icons for the Verdan race and That-Which-Endures deity. They ought to work out-of-the-box for Patch 7, but Patch 6 players will need to wait for ImprovedUI to add them.

If the default icons bother you as much as they bothered me, you can unpack the ImprovedUI Assets, overwrite the existing IUI_DeityIcons.xaml and IUI_RaceIcons.xaml with the ones in , then repack the Assets (with priority 21 if you're using LSLIB) and put the new copy into your mods folder. I included a zip in Misc Files with just the xaml files needed. Obviously, these are only as up to date as of 2024-10-04 and I'll remove them once IUI Assets officially add the edits.

So, heads are a little tough:
the Verdan use gith and gnome bodies, so there’s actually some remodeling work to be done to get them to fit. But, I’ll ask permission and see what I can do.

As far as i am aware you dont need permition. The mod was re-made because the OG creator stopped updating it, i guess its basically free-to-use

I got permission from both Vemperen and Dufrense12 to patch the Half-Gith heads and it is now available in the optional files.

It ought to say 6.0.0.0? This is my first time publishing a mod, so I’m not sure if updates have a delay before becoming available. But, you should be able to see and download it by now.

Very sorry about that, but I think I've squashed all the bugs as of 8.0.0.0, so if you're willing to give it another try, you should be able to create a fully functional character now. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee your existing save will pull in the changes I made, so you might need to create a new character, once you've updated the mod.

Those should be included in the references to the _Hero object. Let me move them to be included again,  in the stats of HeroVerdanSmall data. I was going to put out an update, along side the patches, which should remove some buggy LODs from the tall masc heads. So, I’ll add this change to it, once I’ve tested it too. Maybe in an hour or two.

8.0.0.0 is up, let me know if it works for you. There is a possibility that a new save is required, my tests are mixed and I’m not sure why. The fix was to copy attributes the Verdan should have already been inheriting, so there’s a chance it is a bug in inheritance itself. I’m not sure, but it works.
