Sinca a lot of people have been asking, here are some quick tips for very conventient commands in Quassarum's Move and Rotate Anything. The following spells are enabled by equipping their Ring of Move Everything and/or Ring of Group Move Item Manipulation:
Ring's Utils -> Put Lock ON = locks objects in place and make my structures a bit less annoying to walk on once you're done decorating
Ring's Utils / Select -> Make Visible in Cutscenes = yep, your items will show in cutscenes (it has worked in all my tests, but please let me know if there's a bug)
You can also use the "Ring of Saving and Loading" to make item-groups, if you want to make little setups that you respawn in new campsites, etc. I very much recommend that you try their mod out!
and this is when my BG3 game will turn into a The sims 4 <3 I've been spending the couple of days just in my EPILOGUE save file, creating new characters with the hireling mod and adding stuff in there hahahha
any way to build stuff even in places where we cant walk? for example, i am in the epilogue and would love to build a house near the water... Also i suppose we can not walk into there :;(
Glad you're enjoying it! Working on this mod is prety much my way of keeping away the Sims cravings as well.
It's not really possible to build "out of bounds" without editing the map itself with an override mod, since there are invisible objects blocking your clicks, etc, on those parts of the map (I've been looking into a map edit mod, but it'll have to wait and see if I have the time for it after my next update to this mod)
I'm looking at making a DIY tent kit asset-thing (you'll have to export is as a mod yourself), and it would probably be pretty easy to throw in custom paintings with that as well. Will look into it!
sorry to bother again but sometimes there are objects like the rugs and tents that are difficult to click with the Select Option..I need to be with the mouse around the object until it selects, but it takes a lot of minutes to do so..
I'm tweaking most of the hitboxes a bit in the next update, so that might fix the issue. If you write which specific ones you're having issues with in my feedback form (link) it will me help me a lot with narrowing it down when bugtesting ^^
LOVE THIS MOD SO MUCH! The lil stuffed animals and plants are my favorite! Ty for giving them the -no-declutter tag <3 Makes it so much more rewarding to decorate and not have to give each item the tag manually with the ring mod <3 Can't wait to see what else you add! *waits patiently to see if a ton of Shar temple/guantlet stuff gets added patiently* LOL
Just want to let you know that you're the GOAT for creating this mod, it's literally everything I ever wanted. I've been checking everyday for this mod to be updated & so happy when I saw it was! Keep up the good work! :)
This mod is a literal GODSEND I stg, my friend and I have a blast decorating our camp and building our tents!! If possible, would you be able to add an empty weapons rack to the miscellaneous objects?? We see them all over the place but we can't duplicate or select them ;u;
My next batch will probably be a bunch of custom lighting/VFX stuff (i.e. stuff that's nearly done but didn't make the cut for this update), but that doesn't sound like too much trouble as long as I remember it. Speaking of, I'll attach an updated feedpack form to my pinned post in a little bit. Odds are better that I'll remember it if you write it in there ^^
Hey, really really love this mod! But just a heads up, there's a minor issue after upgrading to the latest update: some of the inventory icons don't match their items.
This is most obvious with the tents because while the inventory icons for the newer colored tents all match, most of the icons for the older tents don't. Some have the image of other tents, while others have bookshelf icons for some reason. I've summoned some of the other decor bags, and the problem isn't as widespread in those - though when one of those items DOES have the wrong icon, it's usually got the image of a tent lol. The rugs are mostly unaffected, except for the woven reed mats which seem to have lost their icons entirely.
I also noticed that the new colored pillows seem to have completely replaced the old assortment of pillows, which is kind of a bummer since I really liked some of those - could they be re-added?
I was about to ask that question myself. While I absolutely love the new updated version and all its new options, I kind of miss the old cushions/pillows too. I was wondering if they would be able to add them back in as well. Hopefully it'll be possible.
Oh, I'll thanks for letting me know! I'll have a look at fixing all of that.
In short: It seems like I didn't scrub any files I put in the toolkit thoroughly enough before doing the final testing of the mod, so I missed some places where textrue codes linked up wrong, and everything looked correct to me during testing (the fact that the toolkit picks up on installed mod files and vice versa is a huge pain in the ass).
Edit:
So, do your tent directories not look like this?
If not; do you still have AdorableDecor_Merged_2.006 (or other version) in your mods folder? I.e. here: \AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\Mods, because i've moved items around on the icon atlases between the updates, so it's possible that objects are linking up to the old file in that case.
What I though was just me messing up with the settings was actually a system-wide thing. It seems like the game loads the "original" color settings if an item has been placed on the map during the save/reload, while items kept in the inventory retain their dyed state (items that have "lost" their dyed colors also regain them if you move it in and out of the inventory). This means that the next release will probably just have a bunch of recolors instead of dyable items.
Haven't given up on solving the issue for the future though, but it requires me to get a bit more close and personal with some code first. If anyone has some input I'd love to hear it.
Would it be possible to be able to lie down on a blanket as if it was a bedroll? I ask since putting the blanket on a bed makes the bed unusable so I was thinking lying on the blanket would be the next best thing. No worries if not
Something I've just noticed, the kitchen counter doesn't seem to have collisions enabled? I can just run straight through it, but I can place objects on it

Hey, do u think it is possible to make custom paintings?
Or at least have a base paiting for wall or/and tables
Then we can use our own textures
