Overall Notes - Barbarian is one of my favourite classes thematically so this set of items was a little bit easier to come up with (in addition to Barbarian in general being a rather simplistic class). With this class my philosophy was more squarely on raw damage or tankiness. This was one of three classes I felt it was a little too easy to multiclass out of (along with Rogue and Wizard), so I did include a trait on a lot of items that I hoped to encourage sticking to Barbarian called Ferocity. This is an item that would normally increase critical threat range by 1 unless you have Brutal Critical (a level 9 feature), in which case it will increase critical threat range by 2.

Beast (Predator Set)
- This set is all about the more predator-like aspects of a beast. The focus of this set will be on landing critical hits, being fast, hitting hard and hitting enemies that have already taken damage (sort of like hitting wounded prey). The legendary item gives a version of the Savage Attack feat that should stack with Savage Attack.

Berserker (Rampaging Set) - This item set will push you to hit critical hits more than any other set in this mod. It will also push you towards building turns of Wrath as much as possible. Once you hit 5 turns you begin "rampaging" and start reaping the benefits in your action economy. Additional features with this set include making your Intimidation a powerful skill.

Giant (Colossus Set) - This is THE DPS set. Everything in this set is focused around reaping the benefits of being BEEG. The larger you are, the better the items in this set will get. A side-goal with this set was to make Enlarge and Elixir of the Colossus spells/items worth using over their buffing counterparts. The items in this set also go well with the items from the Giant's arsenal.

Wildheart (Wild Set) - If the Colossus set was the DPS set, this is the tank set. I tried to reference the different totems as much as possible where I could while also trying to adhere to a theme of a survivalist that can take a hit. I generally aimed for things like increasing HP, reducing incoming damage and increasing mobility while encouraging targets to hit the wildheart.

Zealot (Sacred Might Set) - The closest I got to designing a supportive barbarian set. This set is focused around the new condition of Zeal which gives +1 to attack for each turn of the condition you have (similar to wrath but for attack instead of damage). I considered adding a pay-off like I did for berserker but there are not really that many Zeal sources that I felt comfortable doing that. This set also does have some damage-focusing elements such as dealing additional radiant and necrotic damage or giving your allies the power to deal additional radiant damage. The legendary item also makes the user do a blast that makes nearby enemies vulnerable to Radiant and Necrotic damage for 1 turn.
