Usage
Smithbox supports the following 64-bit operating systems:
- Windows 7
- Windows 8
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
To run Smithbox, you will require the following distributables:
- Visual C++ Redistributable x64 - Download it here.
- Microsoft .NET Core 7.0 Desktop Runtime - Download it here.
- Microsoft .NET Core 7.0 ASP.NET Core Runtime - Download it here.
Additionally, you will need the following hardware:
- Vulkan 1.3 compatible graphics card with up to date graphics drivers: NVIDIA Maxwell (900 series) and newer or AMD Polaris (Radeon 400 series) and newer
- 4GB or more graphics card VRAM if modding DS3/BB/Sekiro/ER maps due to large map sizes.
After setting up Smithbox, you will need to unpack the game you wish to mod as well:
- Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition - Unpack with UDSFM.
- Dark Souls: Remastered - Unpacked by default.
- Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin - Unpack with UXM.
- Dark Souls III - Unpack with UXM.
- Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - Unpack with UXM.
- Elden Ring - Unpack with UXM Selective Unpack.
- Armored Core VI - Unpack with UXM Selective Unpack.
