Because this this mod seem to be mostly dead, I just want to show more module based mods that do something similar. Just download and put into "mods" folder. This is all working well and have great quality.
all three parts are working fine right now for steam version. I'm using it with imodyouranno manager and pirates are really pain in the ass in hard mod( fear of pirates are real now) Only problem i got is in diplomacy screen. New AI does not talk when u flatter or give money to them. They are always silent. They dont chatter, they dont comment or react on your newspaper propagandas like other vanilla AI's. They talk when they are giving quests on the world map but other than that they go silent this makes me sad. I really wanna hear Bente's thought about world during my session. I've been waiting for her rivalry for a long time but her silence is immersion breaking. Please could someone tell me is this a bug for my end or do u guys also have this problem?
Sadly, Military Mod is truly broken as it causes your game to crash since GU16 of Anno 1800.
I suggest you use "Combat Overhaul" instead, which is the updated version and expansion of Military Mod.
Here is the google drive of this author where you can find several mods, including combat overhaul. Or just find the mod on the mod.io website or the ingame mod browser.

Hello everyone, When I buil red pearl ship in my shipyard and I equp it with Legendray items it just got destructed. I tried to experiment a little bit with that and I found out that this does not happen with rare items and also speed how fast ship get destroyed depend on amount of legendary items i put on the ship.
Is there any way how to avoid this? How can I find out if the equipment i would like to use will destroy my ship or not?
If I stay my red pearl in the harbor with the original equpment it is just ok.
Hello. Is it possible to play Combat Overhaul in multiplayer mode: 2x AI vs 2x human. Every time my friend can't connect. Only in this mode I get an error. Even though the versions are the same. 02 Combat Overhaul AI - causes no connection possible. The rest 01-03-04-05-06 works and you can connect? Please help me, best regards
yes MP is possible, many people play it like that, but both of you need to redownload the mod to make sure you are actually on same version, but next time please do not contact me in a PM as its not my mod, go to the discord for questions instead.

The mod is dead guys, cease beating a dead horse. The original author never posted any update since the original release, almost one year ago!
The AI behavior is based on a huge XML and there is ZERO CHANCE this XML remains compatible with the new patches of ANNO. Sorry. Me too I would have liked to play a decent military game, but that's not possible.
Something bad must have happened to the author. Who posts a major work requiring dozen of working hours without any update or anything the day after?
but is there no way to get it back working (without beeing the creator in person)? I have no coding skills, otherwise I would have started long time ago. Before the last update it still seemed to work for me. But since "Dächer der Stadt-DLC" it seems to be down on the heavy AI-Part.
Someone with courage and time can certainly make it works. Everything is in XML. The thing is, Anno modding requires some decent knowledge of the game, as everything is referenced with identification numbers you must know (or check in a database) and frankly, that's not something I'm looking into doing, given I already program each day, 5 days a week.
Someone did it like also a year ago, he did a great job with tuning this mod, fixing quest lines, making bente, Qing and Willie even more powerful, he also did some decent mod, like big cathedral, forest like mesh, etc. But one day, he hides all his creation, I message him, and he said that he has a problem with Nexus it self. Then I never saw him anywhere, his account got deleted. I still have his military mod though, and it works fine.
@KamikazeSFA @Nibelung44 This particular modder you speak of was banned by Nexus due to their latest policy changes which caused modders from now on to never be able to remove their mods from Nexus. So I would guess that for VERY obvious reasons this modder does not want you guys to distribute and/or re-upload it on Nexus. If you really want to get in contact with this modder, like I am, then just visit us on the "Anno Mod-Corner International" discord server.
This was a great shame on Nexus part. I used to mod frequent for any games i played but had some issue here long ago and removed everything and stopped uploading. With this Ann0 1800 game i have gotten back into mild modding and mostly fixing broken mods but I wont upload to any site that feels they own your mods. Unfortunately for me i have no clue about discord or other sites trying to take on mods now
