UPDATE: I figured this out. There are so many similar file paths and information that does not relate to a Steam installation. My file path was located by going to the following...
1. Open the Steam software and go to your library 2. Locate the game from the library menu on the left side of the screem 3. Right click on the Anno 1800 game title from the list and select "Properties" > A new window opens 4. Click on the "Local Files: option > the window will change to information related to local files 5. Click the "Browse" button at the top of the window 6. What ever file path opens up is where you want to copy and paste the mod download from this creator.
The mod worked for me after doing this.
ORIGINAL POST: I have a problem getting this to work on my Steam installation.
So I see that the game has its own mod launcher now and that the Github launcher is not needed anymore. That being said I followed the instructions in your details section but when I tried to launch the game, it said that the version of the launcher was not compatible with the game anymore and to get the latest version, which it was according to the Github link you posted.
I then repaired the dll files using Steam verify feature and simply created a folder and named it "mods" where the anno.exe was located at.. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Anno 1800\Bin\Win64"
I tried loading the game but did not get the expected message from the game acknowledging the use of mods nor did the Grand Gallery have its prices adjusted.
I dont know where to install this to make it work and any help you can offer would be appreciated.
Is there any way to reset the gallery purchases? After purchasing an item to 99 and turning off the mod it says negative Tickets. Is there a way for us to remove that? Or reset the gallery item purchases?
