I´m currently working on a even newer version anyway, so I´ll skip the file upload here till then. The next version will be uploaded on mod.io too. Should be end of November. In the meantime you can download v2.2 on the github page ;): https://github.com/lion053/AnnoMods (right side --> Releases)
Only just started to use this even though it was in my mods folder for a bit. One very great thing is that you can lay "road" under the housing/famland and it looks extremely natural and lifelike as if people actually walked there over the years; very few "square" blocks showing. Also can place buildings very near each other so they look like they might just be additions to the main house.
ran into a couple of issues on a fully updated game recently restarted - as in begining of Jan 23. First one was buildings like the Town Hall could be placed over the top of existing roads (As I found out when my wagons just moved through the building as if it wasn't there when they followed the road that I hadn't seen when I placed it rofl) and second that the Bazaar could be placed but apparently couldn't find a connection to the harbor, in spite of being next to a road that led straight to it. More than likely something I've done or the mod conflicting with another mod - I use a few - but just in case it isn't I thought I'd mention it. Or I am misunderstanding something which is perfectly possible :)
Yes, you refer to buildings with only one blocking tile but larger actual volume. There are quite a lot of them (e.g. residences). Idea was to give the possibility to create dense oriental cities (see pics) which differ from the strict rectangular vanilla layout. Of course this requires much more effort from the player to make it look good and realistic. It´s definitely not meant for fast building and inhabitant farming ;) Suggestion for the Townhall: place it, then place sand ornaments / trees / lights / any other ornament you like around; The bazaars are 1x1 tile sized as well, so you have to make sure, a street goes into them until it "touches" this tile. Streets should be green right after, indicating a connection.
I haven´t dived into this yet, maybe yes, maybe not. But it would require the tourist dlc to be activated at least, which causes more and more dependencies for a mod. I´ll see what I want to do after my current project ;)
This all looks fantastic!! Can't wait to play. Waiting for updates from jje1000 to start a new game. I hope I don't have to wait too long. I am guessing these can only be built in Enbesa and can't have Hippos and such for zoo in Old World?
